I cannot get enough of this library! Every visit, the staff has been engaging and friendly. My son loves going to the physical property, not only for the toys and books, but because of the staff. I think this property is beautiful and the layout of the bookshelves is easy to navigate- I could get lost in the books, not a maze (although mazes are pretty fun, too). It's a bigger library than I anticipated and the hours are most agreeable. I almost don't want to tell you how awesome our Cowpens/Spartanburg Library is, but I've got to let you know how fantastic this place is. I want it for myself, but I want it for everyone more. While I rave about the physical library, I am even more thrilled about the digital side of the library. I love my Libby/Overdrive app. I love Udemy. I love that there's so many, many more services the library offers. I feel like I'm finally living in a town with a library that is actually satisfying and fulfilling- it's not just a facade. It's not just full of books, but seeds of opportunity and community. I just want to thank our town and Spartanburg for giving us this space. I don't know how you measure performance, but I assure you, you are doing all of the right things. I hope to see the library continue to grow and interact with the...

The Cowpens library is in a semi rural location, but that doesn't mean it's lacking! I love going to this location; the librarians are kind and knowledgeable, the library is clean, and I feel safe in the area. It has a great selection of books with a large children's section, even if it is smaller than some other Spartanburg County Public Library branches. This library also has a thorough teen section, with lots of manga and video games too!
Overall, I think this is an underrated library that deserves lots of love! Great addition to...
Read moreIt was a library, like most other libraries, kind of quiet with a wide selection of books and other literature. If you like to read, I would recommend it, they also have movies if you don't like to read, and they also have video games (small selection) if you don't want to read or watch movies. You can interact with the staff if you want, but not required because they have self...
