I have always given this place a fair chance. Over the past several years there have been issues with different things here and there, ordering a sub with certain specific ingredients, then later finding out at the end of the sub ordering experience, they would be out of a main ingredient that made the sub. For example a Turkey, Bacon, Guac. without Guac. is just not the same. This is not why I am writing this review though. Friday, March 6th 2020 I had received a coupon alert from Subway for a BOGO on any footlong. I hadn't eaten hardly at all at this point and was needing to get some supper for me and my husband. I ordered through the app just as the directions say to do. Somehow when the app switched screens and the BOGO deal was applied it showed only 1 sub to the Subway location in Cowpens. This was a problem that could easily be fixed as I showed up at the location. Arriving everyone was kind, then as I waited for the second sub to come she explained about how a glitch in the app must have happened. As said before I showed her the app, I showed her how I did what I was supposed to do. I also asked for her to just give me the refund and I would order the two subs again right there with her so she could make sure I did it correctly. She refused to help. I asked her to call the manager or someone...I asked for a number to call the customer service through the app so I could do the refund that way... she did give me a number for customer service..I called and was on the phone with them for 57minutes before they hung up on me without speaking to anyone. This has been beyond frustrating. I later drove to 2 other local Subway locations. Each manager at the other locations told me the same thing, It's not a matter of the sub or money, IT IS THE PRINCIPAL OF THE MATTER. One manager took it upon himself to reach out to the manager of the store in Cowpens and explain the situation and asked him to reach out to me. So, today (March 7th) I just received a call from the Cowpens Subway Owner. He started off kind, giving compliments and such of how "tenacious I was being to go to the ends of the earth to fight for what I believe to be right, whether I was or not". Later he asks what he could do to make it right. My response was by Subway law on disputes or refunds, they state that cash cannot be given, but it is up to the store to make it right by refunding the money on the card you paid with or by store credit. He stated he could not give the refund or store credit. He offered coupons that would add up to the amount I lost, but that meant I would have to spend more money to get any type of "refund". At the end of this conversation I asked him to email or contact his company and find out the proper way to do a refund through the app. He acted like this was an absurd thing to ask. He then stated that he would reach out by email to the company stating â maybe they can help you and if not maybe God can.â My reply was â He already has and I am a saved Christian who will go to Heaven one day.â He then said well God doesnât need $11 and change to do it.â
Who are you people who have COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN THE BASIC RULE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was done with this ignorant owner at this point. I will get the money back and I will see to it that this review is sent to not only Google but to corporate. No company would be happy with this type of unwillingness to help.
So here we are , no subs, no refund and out the little $11 and change, but thatâs not the issue ⌠ITâS THE PRINCIPLE.
And, If MATT Superman is available... or so called by the man who owns the Cowpens location.... you own several surrounding stores nearby. I just want to thank you for having a good rep with the other Subways. I will continue to drive further to your stores from here on out.

So he asked if he can mix it up. He also said two were already in the bag ! The second thing he did wrong was that he did not put my chips in the bag or give me a drink. I had to ask for that an show my receipt! Lastly when I pulled to the end of the drive thru I checked my bag an two cookies was not already in there so I had to back up an wait for him to come back just to get two more cookies ! I do not like how he blamed the missing two cookies on a girl. He lied and said she forgot to put two more in there when I seen him pack the other 4. Yall could have made more cookies for my order ! Youâre lazy ! It do not take long to make cookies ! An I do not appreciate my service today! I will not come back to this subway !
You do not put your customers first ! If I order online or come in you should make what it says you offer! Yall just didnât want to take the time to bake them and lastly nobody should have to ask you for the rest of there order! Before you handed me my bag the receipt was on it already !!    Read moreFriday April 8 2022 pulled in at 847 pm to grab a sub real quick, they turned the lights off on me and locked the doors still had ppl sitting in the eating area, guess they had more important things to do then stay open until 9 like advertised!!! Subway Cowpens yall should put a disclaimer on ur store hours something like "we wrk until 15 mins before its time to close then we lock the doors and ride the payroll train until we leave, so please dnt leave bad reviews on Google if we are closed when u arrive around closing time"!!!! If I had seen that disclaimer somewhere I wouldn't of wrote this just saying....matter of fact just send it up to corporate and see if they can get that guy who talks real fast at the end of all the medicine commercials about all the side effects, on a commercial with Micheal Phelps, Simone biles, or whatever other over paid person yall got on your commercials these days to talk after them, he can mention the side effects of yall closing early, like if u have sugar u could possibly die cause we aint open when we say, so we can't give u a cookie and save ur life, cause we had more important things to do then be open when we say we are open....that's just...
