Martinez Tire Shop #2 LLC — Attraction in Cranford

Rarely do I take the time to write a review - but in this case, it was a MUST. These guys are AWESOME. At 5pm today I got a flat in the Home Depot - Garwood parking lot. I immediately called the local chain tire shops - as I knew they were closing at 6pm. I just wanted to pump up the tire, drive it over, get it plugged so I didn't have to worry about it in the am. While the chains were all professional, none could accommodate me with just an hour until closing. They said bring it in tomorrow am. I didn't remember Martinez Tire - but my wife calls them - they say BRING IT RIGHT OVER, we're here until 6pm. I drive over - they are OUTSIDE with a jack - within 10 seconds my tire is off the car and being plugged. Took them 2 more minutes to dunk the tire in water to make sure it's tight - and 10 more seconds to put the tire back on. In LESS THAN 5 minutes - and for $15 (I added a $5 tip) - I was back on Centennial Ave with my problem solved. It's this type of no-nonsense service level that allows a small business like Martinez Tire Shop - Cranford to compete against bigger competitors. Keep it up guys - you made one customer VERY happy...

I’ve purchased used tires in the past here and never had an issue. Today I went and felt a little rattling on my rear back tire and went to see if it was properly tightened. Wilmer came out checked all four for me complimentary and said they looked good. He reminded me they were in bad condition, but I knew that because I was buying 4 brand new ones at Walmart this week. We talked a price and I decided to buy from here instead. All 4 removed and done in a breeze.. the 3 gentleman were very nice the whole time. Wilmer noticed I didn’t have the bolts in my rear caliper(the noise I had originally heard) and walked around the shop to find me the piece. He gave me a temp one( I needed two) and told me to grab the piece at autozone and come back and I did. In no time, he graciously removed the tire, and did this work for me too. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore. They are the nicest customer service I have ever been to, and I would highly recommend giving...

I recently visited this tire shop after experiencing a blowout earlier in the day. The service was quick and convenient, making it easy to address all my tire needs. I purchased a used passenger rear tire to replace the donut I had on, and the total cost came to approximately $55 with tax. The staff also advised me that my front passenger tire needed to be changed as well. I decided to hold off, but my husband returned the next day to get the recommended tire swapped out. He ended up paying $40 with tax for a used tire for the same car.

One thing I noticed was that I didn't receive an itemized invoice, so I couldn't compare the prices directly. Going forward, I'll be sure to send my husband for these errands. Overall, the service was efficient, but I wish there had been more transparency with...
