Greg is an amazing instructor! On a scale of 1-10, he is a fifteen. This is my story. I passed my driving test, in NYC, when I was 18. The day of my test was the last time I drove. (I continued to renew my license and I even passed a written test to have this unused license valid in N.J.) Fast forward...48 years, (this is not a typo) life thru me a strike out, my husband is unable to drive (due to surgery). I was literally shaking at the thought of getting behind the wheel again. Google provided several driving schools in my area: One would not take someone of my age. A couple had horror stories about the instructors. Then, I saw the ad and reviews for Road Rules Driving school. Greg was unavailabe due to giving a lesson. I had knots in my stomach as I left my number for a call back. Greg called and I discussed my stiuation and my terror. The appointment made, I was visibly shaking when Greg shook my hand. He arrived early and took the time to talk with my husband and answered his many questions. He explained his teaching style. He helped me to gain confidence and to drive. Today, I am a driver! I won't do route 4 by choice, (those people are crazy and the side streets take me where I need to go) however, my neighbor (after recovering from the shock of seeing me driving and all our hugs) inquired, so what happens if you ever need to use "that" road...my answer was and is...I will call Greg.
Thank you Greg from my heart.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually do not write reviews but this driving school nearly made me miss my road test. 3 weeks before my road test I called several times and was never able to get a live person. I went to the website and filled the customary forms they have. I submitted the forms and received a response saying " Thank you for your inquiry... We will contact you closer to your test date" So I waited for a response.......no response. 4 days before my test I sent a follow up email to confirm the appointment for use of road test vehicle and 1 hour of driving practice. No response........again. I called and got spoke with someone who said they were the owner. The person on the phone said that the emails back to me were auto-reply emails. Ok...that's fine but if you are going to have auto-reply emails then maybe road rules should eventually REPLY In a timely fashion. The person on the phone said try calling someone called Chris and that he may or may not help me with the road test. Hmmmmm ...not good customer service. As a customer I now had to urgently start looking for another driving school at the last minute to be there for my road test.
I know you will bad mouth this negative review as you have done to all your bad reviews. This alone should tell you people out there what this company is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a great experience taking my 6 hours at Road Rules! My instructor, Anthony DelConte was super patient with me and never got aggravated, even when it took me about two hours to learn how to drive straight, which was definitely very relieving as a new driver. Throughout the six hours, he was also very calm and encouraging. I was literally terrified at the beginning of the lessons, and Anthony really helped me feel more confident at the end. He always arrived early and explained what was going to be covered during every lesson. He also did a phenomenal job in thoroughly explaining every concept I had to know to drive, which really helped since I knew basically nothing at the beginning. In all the six hours, there was also never an awkward atmosphere since Anthony always tried to maintain comfortable small talk. I really benefited from learning from Anthony, and Iām super happy with my lessons from Road Rules. My lessons were also arranged really quickly in less than a month, whereas a friend of mine applied to another school a month earlier and still have not began their lessons due to slow scheduling. I would definitely recommend Road Rules and Anthony DelConte to anyone looking to learn how...
