Park itself is a nice place to visit with your family and kids. 2 play areas are available, 2 pavilions and various picnic tables also available. The campground is quiet and maintained, has water and electric available as well as primitive sites. Only thing lacking is a shower house and bathroom facilities. Would be good for overnight stays but as a tent camper they only allow 3 night increments. There is a dump station for trailers to use. The replica fort is in fair condition, I would say it has probably seen better days, however; the park board is attempting to raise funds...

The field around the fort was recently mowed and seems to be kept in good condition but inside the fort was overgrown with trees and weeds.
