The Taj Palace | Restaurant & Banquet — Attraction in Cudahy

If you are interested in this place, make sure you have a backup! Here is MY experience with them. First: I emailed them and let them know I was interested, I provided the date he replied but never heard back after that. I called set up something met him and booked our date. Paid everything in full and signed the contract same day.

A few weeks later after we already booked catering, DJ, etc etc they text me and tell me to find another date because they over booked the day I was interested in.

I should have read the reviews prior to even reaching out. The owner or whoever is the one in charge / in contact with me is very unprofessional and it’s sad that a business is being run this way.

There are so many preparations going into planning an event and this completely shattered me finding out I had to be the one to move my event. I was given one option and that was to change my date. After multiple attempts of reaching out to him and asking him, practically begging, for him to be fair and let me know who booked first (it’s the fair option) he just stopped replying.

I hope they get it together here, I would hate to have this happen to...

BEWARE!! Heard my share of negative experience about this place but wanted to give benefit of the doubt.

We plan 9+ months out, we sign a contract and put down a deposit. 2 months before our event, we get a call that they are double booked and will need to cancel our contract.

Our options were 1. Find a new date with them and loose all of the money we put down as deposits with all other services (food, music, etc) 2. Pick up our deposit and TRY to find a new venue in under 2 months that can accommodate 300+ guests. Most of whom made travel plans from out of the state and even the country.

We’ve already had invitations made with this address on them, we’ve spend thousands of dollars on this event and based on the owner’s response, it’s our problem.

We will be taking legal action against Taj palace to ensure no one has to go through what we did. Please look elsewhere because they don’t...

Spanish Mi familia y yo tuvimos una experiencia decepcionante en el Taj Palace durante la celebración del cumpleaños 15 de mi hermana. Inicialmente, todo parecía estar bien, pero pronto encontramos problemas con controles de identificación inconsistentes y tamaños de porción inadecuados para el licor que habíamos comprado. Sin embargo, el incidente más preocupante ocurrió cuando la esposa de mi tío perdió su bolso, que contenía $3,000 y un teléfono. A pesar de nuestra solicitud de ver las imágenes de vigilancia, el personal se negó, lo que nos obligó a involucrar a la policía. Milagrosamente, se encontró la bolsa en el taj palace, lo que implicaba a uno de los empleados fue que lo tomo. Nos decepcionó profundamente la falta de profesionalismo y confiabilidad mostrada por Taj Palace. Parece que Taj Palace elige selectivamente a quién tratar adecuadamente, pero cometieron un grave error al subestimar nuestra determinación de abordar su comportamiento. My family and I had a disappointing experience at Taj Palace during my sister's 15th birthday celebration. Initially, things seemed fine, but we soon encountered issues with inconsistent ID checks and inadequate serving sizes for the liquor we had purchased. However, the most troubling incident occurred when my uncles wife lost her purse, which contained $3,000 and a phone, went missing. Despite our request to view the surveillance footage, the staff refused, forcing us to involve the police. Miraculously, the bag was eventually found on the premises, implicating one of the employees. We were deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and trustworthiness displayed by Taj Palace.

It appears that Taj Palace selectively chooses who to treat properly, but they made a grave mistake by underestimating our determination to address their behavior.

Now that I check the reviews, their only excuse is that they have new management, no, that's not the problem. You're not solving anything!!!!!!.LIARS!!!!
