Tsing Tao — Restaurant in Cudahy

If I could give negative stars I would. This is the 2nd time my husband and I have ordered from here and I should have stuck with my decision to never order again after our 1st time but I made the mistake to get food from here again. The 1st time we spent $70 on food that tasted disgusting! The food has been inconsistent both times. Today I ordered a sweet & sour chicken lunch special and asked that the rice have extra BBQ pork and extra veggies. I was told it would a $6 upcharge which is RIDICULOUS! But I agreed to pay it anyway. I also ordered an order of chicken wings. I picked up my food, got home and EVERYTHING was burnt! Even the rice! AND the rice didn't have ANY of the extras that I requested AND paid for! To top it off, when I entered the restaurant, one of the staff members was sitting at a table in the dining room right behind where the cash register is, clipping his fingernails!!! HOW DISGUSTING! My burnt lunch today cost me $29 FOR ONE PERSON, drive time there and back to pick it up and gas! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ORDER FROM...

This used to be a great place to order Chinese food, really the only place in the area. With that said the quality has gone downhill. I ordered over 100 bucks in food. Sesame chicken, and chicken and broccoli with egg rolls. This was for a friend’s birthday, I figured would give them another try, it’s been low quality for some time. The sesame chicken was only about half the container, not what we paid for! The chicken and broccoli was ALL BROCCOLI! No flavor no seasoning very dry, with no sauce! I understand that times are hard with the economy. That’s no excuse we all work hard for our money! I would rather pay more for better quality if that is the case. Shame on them for taking peoples hard earned money, giving them poor quality food! I will be traveling further to spend that kind of...

So we order here all the time and always has a solid time. The last time though, my dragon and pheonix(general tso with shrimp), ended up being boiled chicken and shrimp. There was no general tso sauce and it was pretty much boiled veggies, boiled chicken, boiled shrimp in a watery container. They maybe do things differently, but it was a definite let down if the order wasn't wrong. Maybe they got my order wrong... But we didn't have a receipt at the time to compare since the receipt they provide is simply the price. Having had dragon and Phoenix before, this was either the wrong order, or them doing it differently than most. I will still come here, but I may not experiment with the menu like I wanted to for fear of not getting...
