I have tried food at this restaurant the starters are fine but the biryanis are scam. Ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and few other biryanis…. Don’t know why they named it after Hyderabad just to spoil the Hyderabad name, when checked about the item saying this is not Hyderabad dum biryani, the owner called a co owner/chef whose name is raja, he started giving lectures about how they followed the procedure to make dum biryani. They are so rude.
The first owner asked us to make the biryani in the kitchen and have him serve so he can know the taste of biryani.
The second owner who was on call, started saying this is Hyderabadi dum biryani… he mentioned he couldn’t be in in-person because he is Chicago then I suggested him to have the HYDERABAD DUM BIRYANI in Devon Street Chicago, then the guy in call started to yell at us all he can. He is so disrespectful instead of taking the feedback he is just saying that person who made biryani will feel bad if we say that is not proper Hyderabadi biryani. Who the hell cares man if you aren’t serving proper biryani and naming it Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. We are not eating freely at your restaurant, we are paying the money and asking you for that. If you don’t want to take feedbacks atleast change the name of the item in menu.
Hope people understand this and skip this restaurant for sure.
The biryani is also not freshly made.
At least respect the customers who visit your restaurant.
If you have this kind of ego problem to accept your flaw, going forward the restaurant will not survive.
He mentioned not to even visit his restaurant again.
Gobi manchurain you get Gobi65 Chicken 65 you get Chicken manchuria Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani you get overloaded shaan masala biryani Same with Mutton biryani. Vegetable biryani is okay but not up to the mark.
Saalan and raita left the world.
He also mentioned thousands of people were satisfied with the biryani, may be his friends…
They do write fake reviews. The workers who work here write the reviews as well.
Please skip this place if you want the authentic Hyderabadi Dum biryani.
Please travel an hour south if you can, to get better taste. That’s worth your time and money.
Thanks and Not revisiting again.
I only write reviews when it...
Read moreOverall it was the worst experience, first learn how to cook authentic dishes and then add them to your menu cards.
We heard good things about this place, hence thought of giving it a try!
They have large open space for big crowd but the service was slow, washrooms did not have any paper towels on Sunday which is supposed to be a day for good business. It was shocking to have missing paper towels and dirty washrooms for a restaurant who can spend so much on interior designing and space. There were hardly 3 families but their service was really poor. We tried vada sambar which was good. Vadas could have been more crispy but the sambar was authentic in taste. Chutney was good this time but when we later ordered the masala dosa, chutney was watery and extremely salty. Also bhaaji in masala dosa was less. Chickoo milkshake was good, jira soda was ok. Chilly chicken was made by tossing chicken fingers in the chilly sauce and some pieces of capsicum. When you charge customer for something, atleast take efforts to use the actual ingredients to make some cuisine. We also ordered paav bhaaji. Your chef should learn how to make paav bhaaji. We ordered paav bhaji because it was on their specials list thinking it could be their speciality but it was the worst paav bhaaji we ever had, it was more like a mixed bhaaji with lot of red chilly powder. Capsicum onions and potatoes were all diced pieces , there was no mashed blend at all like in any authentic paav bhaaji, butter was missing, there was no flavor of paav bhaji masala. Bread was just tossed on pan without any butter. If you can't serve an authentic dish, you should take that item out of your special or featured cuisines.
Would not recommend this place for authentic...
Read moreMy first time here was honestly a bit underwhelming. They don't give you the option to choose a spice level while ordering online however luckily I called and they gave me the options to choose from which I then inputted into the online order (mild, medium, or hot). Reviews for this place were great so I decided to give them a try. My first impression was that the food smelled GREAT however after opening the bag the food was VERY minimal for the price. I ordered the butter chicken and naan bread, the butter chicken (priced at $17) was probably about $7 worth of food as both orders of butter chicken had less than 10 pieces of chicken in each bowl and was simply filled with sauce to make it seem like more. The chicken comes with rice which was also not stated on the menu. Although the naan is good they only give you 2 half pieces for $4 when in reality it takes probably about $1 for multiple pieces of naan (I’ve made naan before and its not expensive to make at all). Overall, food was good however not worth the money for how...
