Taylors Fine Timepieces — Attraction in Cullman

HUGE LIFELONG DISNEY FAN HERE!! My Husband has bought me two gorgeous vintage Mickey Mouse time pieces here. I absolutely love and adore them!! Both have character and are extremely charming. Both are beautiful… and they work!! The first one he bought for me is a 1980’s SEIKO brand Disney Mickey & Minnie jukebox alarm clock. At the time, (the 80’s) they were a Disney store exclusive.

The second one is a BRADLEY TIME CO. Mickey Mouse RAILROAD Pocket Watch Set - circa 1970’s. This one is super special!! The fat red “Mickey Mouse” lettering on the clock’s face seems to be pretty rare as we could find just 2 more on the internet that were EXACTLY like mine, with the red letters and the hard brown case. The Bradley Time Co apparently made different Mickey Mouse pocket watch sets over the years, and the one that I have seems to be the rarest out of all the sets.

I've never actually had work done but the person who answered the phone was less than helpful. I requested a call back from the owner at his convenience and was told nope, he was busy. I told them I lived an hour away and would just like to know if the hands could be put back on my old watch. He told me to just bring it in because there was no telling what I had or what I was talking about. Really? He sounded mildly annoyed that I would even call. Mr. Taylor fixed 2 Breitling watches for me, one with a second hand that had fallen off, and one with a minute chronograph that wasn’t working. He did the job for far less money than I was quoted at a dealer. Great attention to detail and is a master of his craft, as well as very personable and teaches you about how your watches work. I will definitely use him again.

His associate greeted me when I went to pick up the watches, and gave me a tour of the shop and told me some history behind some of the pieces. Overall, only great things to say about this business and...
