I had a birthday party for my 8 year old son there on July 31. After 45 minutes the pool was shut down and we had to leave. The pool manager told city hall that we just left instead of telling them we had no choice but to leave because they shut the pool down and locked everything up. It is now august 30 a month later and I still have not received my deposit back or any sort of refund for the party. The lady at the front desk at city hall is extremely rude and just kept telling me a check was mailed on the first of August only to find out it wasn’t mailed until the 15th. I had moved in between the time I set the party up and the party happening. Even though she said the check was mailed I still gave her my new address but she didn’t give it to anyone. I’ve driven into city hall from Pennsylvania 3 times and was told the same thing. Now at this point all they are worried about is where the check so they don’t lose any money sending out another one instead of why it wasn’t mailed to the correct location or me being treated so rudely. Do not have a birthday here!!! You are told you will get the deposit back right after the party when really you get it back when they feel like giving it back. My sons birthday...
Read moreHaven't been to the park in years until the other day when I took my grandson. I was impressed. There is an area for toddlers and small children complete with smaller climbing areas and slides, baby swings and dual swings for small children and an adult. There is also a "regular" area for bigger kids. Bigger, higher climbing area, slides, and swings. There is also new (since I've been there last) giant musical instruments. I was chasing an 18 month old, so I was only able to get 2 good pictures, 1 of the drums and 1 of the xylophone. There is also a giant metal "harp" shaped instrument with rubber "drum stick" type things connected to the harp and xylophone, there's also a wheel/drum type thing, when you spin it, it sounds sort of like a rain stick. All the upgraded equipment and play areas ground coverings are very nice. I recommend visiting or revisiting if you haven't been...

also the place is a nest, occasionally. there are trails, some well maintained, others not, which might lead one off into a vanishing place and time, to become lost in the mists, if one is...
