Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cumberland

Placed an order for pickup at around 6pm. Was told it'd be a half an hour. I walked in 20 minutes later & was asked for my phone number. The girl turned around & checked the orders then came back up & totalled my order. $38. She then hands me a receipt & walks away. I ask how much longer & she nods towards the chairs. So I dutifully sit. & sit. & sit. People come & go. Phone ringing almost every two minutes. Very busy. While I was waiting they received two calls from upset customers, both I figure were delivery. One was an order that was completely lost. They had to replace that order, or refund, both those options were bandied about. After sitting there, being completely ignored by the people that work there, for over 40 minutes I ask about my order. One of the girls working in the back, not the one who had the counter & ignored me, came up & looked for my order. It had been sitting on the counter for what I assume was the entire time! I wasn't offered an I'm sorry, not even a can of soda. My son was waiting in the car & he checked the food. It was not hot. Just warm. Now anyone that has eaten Chinese before knows how long it stays hot, especially on a hot day. When we got home the food was saturated in oil, for the most part. If i could give them NEGATIVE stars i would...my roomate ordered beef and broccoli dinner with upgraded (3.50 extra on a 7.50 meal) shrimp lo mein instead of rice and there was NOOO shrimp only noodles covered in soy sauce which i shouldnt have had to pay extra for and i tipped them 4$ which is over 20% for her meal(before checking her order clearly)for nothing they were rude over the phone saying it was underneath which it clearly wasnt they said they would fix it but at this point shes pissed she usually loves chopsticks at any other area. When i brought it back without her even taking a bite. The lady was very cold at the front n just kind of walked away after just putting the bag on the counter.. all i can say is what my roommate does for a living is promote businesses and good companys (never your place now) n the last place she would talk positively about is this place. Its not like any other chopsticks ive been to and we live not even a mile away and will absolutely NEVER be back nor will the people she tells. Enjoy...

Food is very good, staff is outstanding, location leaves a little to be desired but the food makes it worth it. I love their takeout and have not had a bad meal here. The staff is always very friendly and gracious. I'd say a hidden gem but considering the traffic and the constant stream of people "hidden" wouldn't really fit. My only complaint is with the online ordering system, I have tried to use it several times over the past few years and the only time it worked was this past week when I finally placed an order, and even then it took literally 3 minutes to confirm my order went through. If the food/people working weren't so great I probably would've forgotten about it after the 1st failure but both are definitely worth a visit. Highly...
