Lobby, elevators, hallway no AC by time you make it to room you are drenched with sweat, bed linens/mattress cover had evidence of past bed bug activity with the bb poop & blood on it. They should have thrown away after treatment. Tv goes out with a light rain. So no TV working while we were here. pool not open at all this year has cover over it. The "bar & restaurant" allegedly closed for remodeling. FRom no AC in common areas, pool not open for season, TV not working I doubt there will be a bar & restaurant. Front desk was rude when I said TV out like it was a huge storm. Only 3 channels worked b4 light rain & the 3 went out after a light rain. Ice machine only working on 1 floor the 6th. No container to get ice. You have to figure it out how you will get it to your room. Bc the fridge is So warm like whole hotel you don't want to keep any beverages in it if you actually want to drink them. Save your $$ go down further to a better area. Or a better hotel. The fact they don't bother to put AC on at front lobby or any other common areas speaks volumes. Paying over $100 for 1 night, being tempature controlled TV working & ability to get ice is a necessity Bed bug stains on linens you sleep on is a no go for me. We had nowhere else to go. Did not bring anything in & left as early as possible

The hotel is well overdue for repairs and renovations. After checking in, we went to the room which seemed clean enough but very outdated. After a long day, we returned wanting nothing but rest. While preparing for bed, we went into the bathroom to find that the water was very slow to drain even though the sink stopper was completely missing. Upon closer inspection once the water drained, we notice that a previous guest had lost their toothpaste cap down the drain. We finished and went to bed only to find that the mattress was old, beyond hard and incredibly uncomfortable. After a very unrestful night, we headed to the shower. We were met with mold and mildew in the shower curtain as well as a broken drain stopper that you had to move with your foot to get the water to drain. We would have left immediately except for the fact that we had a full day planned and trining to find another hotel for the night would have ruined the plans that we had. We endured another restless night and left. We will not return and will post photos of all of the above complaints online. This was such a disappointing stay that I regret paying to stay under these conditions.

We traveled here with our two dogs for a cycling race. The hotel we were originally going to stay at canceled our reservation. This specific weekend there were 3 events going on in town and this was the only hotel in Cumberland that had availability and allowed dogs. After checking in our room was 77 degrees. We turned the AC on and it started to cool down. When we left it was 70 degrees. After dinner we returned to our room at 78 degrees. Went to the front desk to inform them that our AC was not working only to be informed that it only turns on if someone is in the room? Meaning that if you leave your dogs in the room for any period of time they overheat. The bathroom was disgusting. The lobby and hallways smelled like an old bar. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. After tryin to reach out to the GM all weekend we finally got an email back Monday September 16th (attached below). Case created with customer care and will be reaching out to BBB. Do not stay here.

My husband and I have recently booked a three night stay at the Ramada inn in Cumberland Maryland. ||I am writing to say that the hotel is less than the lowest review I can give ||We got there Thurs sep 12 , the check in was odd. There was no one at the desk but I|Heard “are you checking in” I looked around and saw a kiosk with a person that is going to check Us in … I was Taken back .|After we checked in we took the 1 elevator that was in service to our floor .,.,we got to the room and it looked very clean and smelled good …. But the mattress needs to be replaced and so do the pillows ….We left the hotel for a while and came back and asked |Why is the bar not open as advertised … they said we can’t find anyone that wants to work … I was like really this town had many people that need jobs .. he said yeah but They work for two|Days and then don’t Show up … I thought that was odd… we went to our room for the night and decided to turn on the TV, we were looking for a certain channel so we grabbed the plastic stand with the channels on them only to find out the information was not correct we clicked channel 34 and took us to 27.. the only ice machine working is on the 6th floor all others were broken . it was crazy in the morning we took advantage of the free breakfast they offered …, I was Really disgusted …. Muffins were stale I almost choked … no cranberry juice at the delapitaded machine … when I told the breakfast lady that there was no cranberry juice she said “I don’t|Know anything about that … so I had some orange juice … it was watered down and so Was my|Husbands apple juice .|I went to my room and looked up the hotels reviews … people have stayed that the elevator was not working in April of 25 … they also said the bar is not open as they can’t find employees this was in May of 25 . And to top it off I am seeing Reviews that state the pool has not been open for several summers and has still|Not been open ||Bottom line this hotel is less than par and if you Want to keep the Ramada inns up and running … you need to check out that particular Ramada. |I will never again stay at a Ramada … I got|My reservation from Expedia which had good reviews |Then after I was already|Checked in I checked the actual Ramada inn Cumberland reviews and was taken back by the amount Of bad reviews … |We checked out the night Before|Because we were frustrated with the state of the hotel and the customer service as well|As our expectations of the hotel and the area ||I am suggesting you visit the inn I am referring to … if this is what Ramada inns are going to be like they will eventually go out of business.| If they are a franchise of some sort I suggest that they change the name … as a frequent traveler I would not go to this Ramada as well as any other Ramada’s out there |We are very disappointed .,. We checked out a day before and they said they cannot credit my card …. We at this point we Didn’t care and we left . We met people at the elevator on the way out and they had the same issues and concerns . They too were leaving early,|Please check this place out … it’s...

If I would leave negative stars I would. I’m not even sure where to start.

We booked this hotel to be close to our friends and the casino. When we checked in the gentleman with the woman checking us in was in a hoodie with a backwards flat-bill and kept saying he had no idea what he was doing. We got to the room and it was absolutely disgusting I took many pictures before going to the casino anticipating talking to someone at the front desk about our room. There was hair in the drain, huge chunks of wall paper was falling off, shower head makes a loud high pitch noise, sticky stuff all over the counter and much more. Not only was it extremely out dated other than bed being poorly made it looked like no one had cleaned it in a while.

We come back from the casino early around 11 and the whole trip was based on visiting our friends while drove us to and from the casino and was coming up to the room to eat Taco Bell with us. My fiancé and I came up first to change while they parked. The front desk gentlemen stopped them getting in the elevator and asked where they were going they told them and he followed them up. Once they got to the room to use the extra key we gave them HE TRIED TO FORCE HIMSELF INTO THE ROOM to tell us we can have guests, I was a naked woman changing. So not only was it extremely inappropriate but I’ve never experienced a hotel where you couldn’t have your 2 friends bring you up Taco Bell to say good bye.

We told him to leave since I was naked and he went down stairs and proceeded to call us telling us he was calling the cops since we had 4 people in the room (mind you they weren’t staying and we stayed they were just saying bye multiple times)

THEY THEN CHARGED MY FIANCÉS CARD $250 for the $70 room. After the front desk person told me I could use my card when checking out.

So we went downstairs to speak to the man he told us that we signed a paper saying no guests which wasn’t true since I booked online and it just said a double room. He continued to speak to my fiancé staring at me talking about me. As a woman I found that extremely disrespectful.

After charging our card $250 he kept telling us to check out.

After mentioning I was going to call the cops due to how uncomfortable I was that he tried to come into the hotel room while I was naked he changed his tone and apologized to just my fiancé.

I asked for the manager multiple times and he said he was the manager but wouldn’t tell us his name.

Our friends left and we stayed only due to the fact that it was midnight. But I just want to warn everyone if it were me and a few girls instead of my fiancé there it could have been a very scary situation since he didn’t care to just come...

This is the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I never make reviews, but in my 30 years of life, the unprofessionalism, lies, state of the hotel and area are of the worst I’ve ever experienced. When my family and I arrived at the hotel to check in the person behind the counter was unfriendly and barely even looked up from their phone. When we took the one working elevator that creeped and jumped so much I was actually concerned if it might fail. We got to our floor and the smell of stale smoke permeated everything even coming complete with the tinge of yellow only seen in flashbacks of the 1970s. The room although was non-smoking smelled like smoke. The microwave didn’t work. The TV barely functioned. The beds looked and felt like used mattresses from a flea market, but at least I got a lovely view of the train tracks (which were so loud). The room was in a horrendous state. My family stayed only long enough to find a new hotel. After getting everything back downstairs the unfriendly chap originally was gone and a woman with a demeanor of an executioner stared at me like I was inconveniencing her since she had to pause her tv show. I explained the state of the room and told them we would be checking out. She took the key and told me that she could not process a checkout at the time but we would be checked out in the morning by the manager and the rest of our stay would not be charged. The next morning I called and called and called the hotel never reaching anyone. Once the phone was answered and immediately hung back up. I called the company we booked through and they explained that they would contact the hotel and ensure we had been checked out. After waiting almost two weeks to hear something back we were informed that the hotel deemed us a no call no show and would not refund the stay. I’m not a spiteful person but it is completely unprofessional to steal money from people because your hotel is in a sorry state. I called the hotel multiple times and the only time I was able to speak to someone they shouted and talked over me like I was the problem. Then they told me to call the manager back the next day to get a refund. Well surprise surprise they won’t answer any of my calls. If you plan to stay at a hotel in the Cumberland, Maryland area I HIGHLY ADVISE NOT TO STAY HERE. IF YOU DO BEWARE IF THERE IS AN ISSUE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND LIE. THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THE HOTEL IS...
