Sam H. Lawson Middle School — Attraction in Cupertino

I was part of Lawson Class of 2014, and I've got to say, Lawson's music program is one of the best in the district, compared to the other middle schools. When one of our music teachers, Mr. Lewis, taught chamber orchestra, we sent in a recording of us playing to CASMEC community (Board of music teachers), we got accepted to go to the event as the ONLY middle school orchestra playing at the event. We attended the event and got to go on a mini tour of Fresno. Not to mention, every year in Advanced Band, Choir, or Chamber Orchestra, we travel to Disneyland for a few days of fun, including a performance and workshop with professional musicians. This school is just seriously the best. I am currently in 7th grade and so far its been great. The teachers are very good and educate quite well. And you get to go to a disney trip and tourThe food is also pretty good. And Lawson's sports program is just amazing. Only bad thing is that they have too much junk food and drink being sold. And maybe they could add more languages because I want to try something other than spanish or french. Perhaps asian languages? The school also wastes too much money on Ipads and the dirt track.
