I was a little bit unsure about ortho-k in the beginning but Dr. Yu walked us through and made me more comfortable with it. My two kids (9 and 12 yrs) started wearing ortho-k contact lenses about a year ago and are now free from glasses. They wear them before going to bed and take them off after get up. Their myopia development has stopped and even we saw some progress. (Ortho-k is not for curing myopia though.) Dr. Yu has been paying her full attention to during the entire course how their eyes adapt to the lenses and how their eyesight is corrected with them. The best. Ortho-K is great and Dr Yu is well known for that.

She also caught convergence insufficiency in our youngest child (something that is commonly misdiagnosed as dyslexia) and referred us to Dr Kageyama. Nearly a decade later and he is doing just fine. Prior to that, he'd been in special education.
