Great little neighborhood park. Has a wading pool for toddlers that we hope to check out when it opens for the season. Lots of cute little role play amenities (chimes, drums for music, playhouse, underground telephone funnels to listen to another party, a kids' consturction dig pit with the metal excavator digging toy, a steering wheel/fun house setup area).
There's separate swings-but no straps for the big blue "sit-in" safety swings, so the park needs some attention- just some normal wear and tear-type upkeep and maintenance. I'm sure the city will go through the park once the construction equipment and site are cleared from the nearby road being redone.
But overall a great park. There's awesome, wide, accessible slides for little ones, a basketball court (complete with angst-y little teenagers lol), picnic tables and BBQ grills for snack/lunch breaks, with lots of trees in the background, but power grid/lines are impeding on the nature scene. Trash cans weren't full or overflowing, facilities on site but didn't use them. Kids were having a ball! Definitely a worth while spot...
Read moreNice climbing/ slide play set. There are swings and a sand pit with digger toys, a Tall slide for the bigger kids and a bouncy tetter-totter. down below there are tables and grills if you want to picnic and cook out. There is plenty of shade from old pin oak and honey locust trees. There are flush toilets available. During late spring and summer there is a wading pool for the little ones to cool off in. The park is well maintained by Cuyahoga Falls Recreation Teams. It can be tricky getting out during high traffic times! Highly recommend turning right then turning around if you need...
Read moreThis park is nice for adults and children. It includes inside restrooms, a fun playground, picnic areas, basketball court, and even a swimming pool. There is a smallish parking lot which is wheelchair accessible and is located on top of a hill, (perfect for a wintery playdate), overlooking a lovely wooded area. I have enjoyed this park for several years now and it is one of my favorite places to go even if I have to walk the 5 miles it takes me to...
