I want to share my experience with Vintage Nails and Spa. The customer service and staff at this location truly went above and beyond for me. They’re the only nail salon in Cypress that stays open until 8 PM, while most others close at 7 PM. This was a lifesaver for me as I needed my nails done for my job’s holiday event tomorrow. I had a few nails pop off and wanted to look my best. I arrived at 7 PM, just an hour before closing, and honestly didn’t expect them to take me. However, they welcomed me with open arms and graciously offered their services, even though they were a bit busy with other customers. I started with a wax with Helen, who was incredibly gentle and thorough. She made me feel so comfortable, taking her time without any judgment (even though I joked about how much hair was on my face!). Once she finished, the staff stepped in to help prep my nails by removing my old set and cleaning them to save time for Jessica, my nail tech. Jessica was amazing. As soon as she finished with another customer, she reviewed what I wanted and got started right away. If there were a Guinness World Record for the fastest, most precise nail service without rushing or causing pain, Jessica would win! She’s a perfectionist and paid close attention to every detail. I chose an almond-shaped style, and when she noticed anything that wasn’t perfect, she fixed it immediately. For the nail art, I gave her some creative freedom to combine my ideas, and the result was stunning. This was my first visit to Vintage Nails and Spa, and I was thoroughly impressed. While I usually go to another salon, I’m confident I’ll be returning to Vintage. The prices are reasonable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and they go out of their way to make customers feel valued. A big thank you to Jay and the entire team at Vintage for being there for me when I needed it most.

My girlfriend and her friend went here to get their nails done, her friend’s turned out fine but my girlfriend’s turned out awful. They only asked her what color and length she wanted, and didn’t ask her anything else about how she wanted her nails. Her cuticles were cut by the filing tool, and the tech left her nails uneven and choppy, not even shaped, and left acrylic under her nails and on her skin and cuticles. Even besides the nails, the staff led my girlfriend and her friend to the pedicure chairs, and they both kept saying they didn’t want a pedicure or book one. The staff kept telling them it was fine and to sit down. My girlfriend was handed a book, and without even choosing anything and CONTINUOUSLY saying they didn’t book a pedicure, they both ended up being charged $55 and given a pedicure they never asked for. The pedicure itself was very uncomfortable for my girlfriend and also burned her several times. I’m sure other people have had great experiences here, maybe we just went on a bad day. Either way, will not be coming back.

My first and last visit. My experience was...interesting and disappointing. During the pedicure I started feeling the water quite hot so I looked down and the water was overflowing all over the floor and my sandals..then during my manicure the guy was forgetting to turn on the UV light to dry the nails and was in a way 'surprised' when they were not drying 😅...later he was struggling to do the ombre set as I had showed him in a photo and he proceeds to tell me that ombre is done on acrylic nails and not shellac after being almost done....HE is supposed to be the expert so if he knows he's going to struggle could've suggested better alternatives. End result was no where near like the photo. Left with my wet sandals and after a few minutes noticed that I had a cut near the right pinky nail which after 24hours has gotten red and hurts. Overall, the salon is nice, but I truly felt my experience was disappointing

I am not one to generally leave a negative review but feel everyone’s money and time is valuable and should have a true reflection of the experience to consider.

I have been going to vintage nails for about two+ years through the changes in Managment, salon decor, staff, etc.

I will say after my last two negative experiences shame on me for returning and ending up with my third bad experience in a row “lesson learned”.

1st bad experience mani - pedi nails were to thick uneven bubbles in the paint and size and shape varied from left hand to right hand which they explained was “my fingers” and opted to change polish as a resolution. Pedicure was sub parr compared to previous pedicures. Still tipped despite my dissatisfaction cause this was my frequent nail salon and maybe it was just a one off bad experience.

2nd bad experience need a new full set, similar experience - nails were way too short though very thick and again Visual aesthetic between the left hand and the right hand did not match. When I mentioned the gentleman seemed angry and upset when I asked how we could fix them.

3rd bad experience today, worst pedicure ever, nail tech cut my toe nails so short uneven filing and when I asked why they look like crescent moons and were so short she said she was sorry and proceeded to offer to put fake nails on my toes !?!? I have never had fake toe nails put on in my 25+ years of getting pedicures. She seemed so frustrated with me despite trying to talk through how we could (yet again) fix it!! I left paying for a pedicure at full price despite leaving with no polish and botched toe nails. Oooh “but they didn’t charge me for the acrylic big toe nails they put on my feet”!

This nail salon is NOT at all what...

Have been there twice now, both times for a pedicure, and have loved the attention my feet get. Yall they scrubbed my feet 10 years younger. It is amazing. I have left both times feeling great about the service.

The reason I am giving them 3 stars is because the are not very clean. I sat in the same massage chair for both pedicures (Total coincidence) and noticed dirt/dust and trash was in the same spot as the first time I went 3 week prior. I am talking in the cup holders and the seats. It's not like it is hidden up on a shelf or something. I might be willing to let it slide a bit more if they didnt just have 2 months shut down time to thoroughly clean the place.

Also as I was sitting at the dryer waiting for my pedicure to dry another lady walked in and requested a pedicure. They sat her in the seat I was just in having not cleaned it at all. I had my arms on the arm rests and touched the remote for the massage chair. I would think if they are going to be charging 7.75% more for cleaning products (per the sign at the front desk) that they would at least clean the place.

Still on the fence as to whether or not I will...
