I had the worse experience here today.I had previously ate here and there was a waiting but the food was good stood in line huge and order a plate of Chilaquiles ,Menudo and a taco and asked for chips.Chips never came we had to ask 20minuted within sitting down for them . 45 minutes sitting down and we kept seeying people who order after us get their order so my husband asked twice what was the hold.Just to have somebody come and tell us that they should of told us they were waiting on their second batch of menudo to be ready that they had no idea why when we ordered l they didn’t mention it to us and If we wanted to cancel the order. We were really dissatisfied but didn’t say anything but yes we cancel and they kindly gave us a order and if we wanted a extra taco so they gave us back the refund for the Menudo finally brought the food. Some semi cold soggy chilaquiles .I guess they were waiting for the menudo to bring them so it seem they had been sitting there waiting (no utensils we used the closed set left from the previous people sitting ) and 2 tacos de Chicharron soggy no beans and cheese like we asked. We ate them because we had already payed for the food and we had been at the restaurant for almost 1.5 hours but I will never return their too busy to properly care for their customers there’s no where to sit and to even order the waiting is ridiculous.I have never been so dissatisfied with any place and payed for a MEDIOCRE food and not one apology or anything from a manager or anybody. They are understaffed and the place is extremely small for the amount of customers so of course service is poor now.Even more upsetting the wait and the fact that if my husband wouldn’t had mention several times you guys forgot about us to the waiters they wouldn’t had ever came and told us the wait was the menudo maybe even spent another 45 minutes since nobody checks on the tables .We kept seeying people get their food and the people next to me get their chilaquiles place nice presentation and...
Read moreI never try to give a place a bad review but they lied and refused to fix something so simple. I spent over 40 dollars on breakfast here. I ordered one taco for my nephew with no onions. We all know kids are picky. They didn't give me one without onions. I took the taco and told them they added onions and if they could just exchange it for one without. She said no I personally made them myself, they are all correct, look for the one I made without the onions. I told her no you didn't I checked all of them can you just exchange this one with no onions. She told me no fajita is too expensive to just exchange the taco. I was sooo mad. I wasn't asking for a refund I just wanted her to take one of them back and fix it for a KID. She didn't care and walked away so I brought back the bag full of tacos and in front of her checked all of them to prove her wrong. Once I did that she took the one and walked over to another girl and showed it to her and it looked like she told her she didn't make it right...I wanted to tell her oh I thought you personally made them all. I will NEVER go here again they made me feel like I was trying to lie and get something for free when I didn't even ask for any of that I just wanted what I ordered...
Read moreFirst time eating here today, and I had really high expectations based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the food was just okay. We ordered barbacoa, but it was pretty flavorless with lots of fat and unappetizing bits in the meat. My husband ordered steak, but it looked and tasted almost identical to the barbacoa—so we’re not sure if it was a mix-up.
On the plus side, the flour tortillas were tasty and clearly made in-house. The green sauce had good flavor, but the red sauce was very plain. The queso blanco was disappointing—it was basically just melted cheese without much seasoning, pico, or anything to elevate it.
The service, however, was excellent. The girl at the front desk was super sweet, and when we waited outside (since we had our dogs in the car), one of the guys brought our food out to us—a really thoughtful touch.
A few small downsides: there’s no drive-thru, no website, and ordering ahead is tricky. I might give them another try to sample a different meat option (wish they had birria!), but overall this first visit didn’t quite live up...
