Extremely Disappointed with My Experience
I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with this dentist office, and I felt compelled to share my story. My encounter with this establishment left me bewildered and disappointed, to say the least.
Upon entering the office, I was immediately greeted by a lady at the front desk. However, instead of being welcomed or offered assistance, her first question was, "Are you looking for a doctor or a dentist?" I promptly replied that I was seeking a dentist's services. I was abruptly told that I was in the wrong place and instructed to visit a different dentist at the opposite end of the building. This initial encounter left me feeling perplexed and unwelcome.
I followed the instructions and made my way to the other dentist's office, only to discover that it wasn't what I was looking for. I decided to give the first office another chance and called the provided number to inquire if they were indeed a dentist office. The lady on the phone seemed nice and assured me that I should return to their office. I explained that I simply needed to get checked out and see what the dentist had to say. She then asked about my insurance, which I shared with her. She appeared to check if they accepted my insurance, and upon confirming that they did, we proceeded with scheduling an appointment. She provided me with a date and mentioned that she would send me a link for further information.
At this point, I inquired if she needed my insurance information, to which she acknowledged that she did. I provided the required information, and she then stated that she would send me a link for the appointment. Curiously, I asked her how she intended to send the link without my contact number. It was evident that she hadn't asked for my number until that moment, which raised some concerns about her honesty.
Reluctantly, I gave her my phone number and left the office, hoping for a positive outcome. As I walked away, however, I couldn't shake the feeling that I might never receive that appointment link or any further communication from them.
Today was the scheduled day for my appointment, and to my dismay, I have not received any communication from the office. I waited until the last moment in the hope that they might reach out, but my expectations were in vain.
It is disheartening to have such a negative experience with a dental practice that, according to online reviews, seems to offer quality service. Unfortunately, the person at the front desk played an instrumental role in determining whether or not I would become a patient, and their handling of the situation was far from satisfactory.
I want to clarify that I do not wish to assume or impute any motives to the individual at the front desk. However, it's crucial to recognize that the front desk staff serves as the first point of contact for any business, and their actions significantly impact the overall impression and effectiveness of the establishment.
In conclusion, my encounter with this dentist office left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Despite their positive reviews, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative, and I felt compelled to share my disappointment.
