I recently purchased a house, and while awaiting to close I fell in love with a beautiful mango rubberwood table from Nadeau. Every time, I went I would ask if there were more of that table or if they would be willing to hold it until I was able to close. I was always met with nasty remarks from Larry. He essentially called me broke and the only way he could hold it was if I paid in full. If that's the policy, that is is fine. But his round about way of calling me broke was uncalled for. He also told me "he doesn't order the same things twice."
Nevertheless, I loved that table and I finally purchased. My movers were able to deliver the table to my home. However, before leaving Nadeau they noticed several large scratches on the surface of the table and a huge crack underneath the table. Larry informed my fiancée that the crack could be fixed with "just a little wood glue," he clearly would know. Upon delivery the table BROKE. The table was missing several nuts and was GLUED together with wood glue... Wild.
Larry did offer the selection of a new table without charge. However, the whole experience was horrible. From being made to feel inadequate and like my money did not matter to the table breaking. The same table Larry called me broke over BROKE on delivery... what a joke.
Moral of the Story: Larry is trash and the items at Nadeau are not the quality he makes...
Read moreI am SO glad I found Nadeau Dallas. I am so impressed with the quality of the two items I’ve bought so far. They are real wood and such beautiful, unique pieces from India & Indonesia. You can’t beat the wholesale prices either, I did my research. I had a wonderful experience & I purchased virtually through Instagram. Timothy was so amazing! He provided the best customer service, he was quick to answer (thank goodness because there was a lot of interest about one of the pieces). He sent me details, measurements, walk around videos about the pieces I was interested in all via Instagram. Impressive! We did the transaction over the phone (he was so polite!) and when I asked about a delivery option, he provided this as well. They offer a third party delivery service and it’s an amazing price! They base it off of the mileage (distance) from the store to my house (Dallas to McKinney) and size of base price of the item. The second piece was only $10 more - can’t beat that!! Sam was on time, communicative and all communication was via text. Paid with Venmo. He was very courteous and fast - next day delivery! Again, very impressed. Read moreI have bought several pieces of furniture from this amazing store. Customer Service is through the roof. Amazing! I bought one karaoke cabinet and there was not a matching one in the store, but there was one in the Austin store and so the manager was so sweet and introduced me to Sam and Sam and his colleague went all the way to Austin for me to pick it up for a fee of course but a very good fee reasonable. They delivered it on time and imperfect condition. I am so very happy with this place.
The only thing I really wish that they would do is have either a Facebook or an Instagram with what’s new in their store that would really bring a lot of customers in and it would really help me a lot deciding to drive across Dallas to purchase another piece which if I could fill my whole house with their furniture, I would between them and Crate & Barrel. I buy all my Soft furniture at Crate & Barrel and the more wooden square edged furniture from Nadeau.
