I literally come here 3-4 times a week. This morning I came about 2:00 in the morning (I work late) and they tell me they don’t have any eggs right now for huevos rancheros. It’s literally two whole eggs opened over a grill and cooked to temp. Yet, you tell me that you don’t have eggs until 5:00 am. Are you telling me that your breakfast cooler is only opened from 5:00am-11:00am? Is it locked? Any 24 hour establishment serves breakfast all day or from 11:00pm-11:00am. While I come here 3-4 times a week and provide a relatively hefty tip (compared to what you’re used to), I may have to rethink that.
2-19-19 I came in tonight at 3:00am and asked for huevos rancheros. Unbelievable service and they managed to make it happen. By far, some of the best huevos rancheros I’ve had in Dallas, Julia is always amazing and I appreciate everything that they do for me. Adrianna was amazing tonight and served me very well (as usual, compared to the last time I asked for huevos rancheros). She has always been amazing prior to and after that time. Thank you! I don’t always want a quesadilla, but once certain issues are ironed out, by far some of the most amazing food I’ve had in Dallas. As a head chef in a Mexican restaurant in Dallas, I only aspire to have some of the best service and management that this establishment has.
Update 9/12/19
I walked in tonight and found out that any credit card tips go to the company and are no longer the property of the employees for whom they were intended. Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourself. If this continues, I’ll sue on behalf of the employees, and you’ll be forced to give all of them from the point you made the decision to the point the agreement was made. Either change your policy or face the wrath of the people you don’t realize you have as customers. That being said, I’ll support your staff, but there’s no way in hell I can support you after making...
Read moreMy family and I travel here to Texas from California and always come to this place , even tho we always have some kind of issue here. Obviously these issues aren’t big enough to stop us from coming back but definitely worth sharing in hopes it helps someone else. Food is great here, can’t deny this. But they could definitely pay closer attention to making the food correctly as you order it. I mean, it’s expensive so the least that can be done is to have your food made correctly. My favorite here is the fajita burrito: steak, rice, beans , cheese, lettuce , tomato …. Favorite salsa is the green guacamole Looking one. Red is the spiciest. This time around , we placed a large order: 2 burritos , and 25 tacos and we were only given 8 salsas. When we asked for more, since we did have a huge order, they told us “I already gave you plenty” , so we asked for more and we would just pay for it if we had to. Well, she took it serious and charged us $10 for the extra salsas. I get it, charge for it but charge for it accordingly to how much you have ordered. How does it seem right to give such a small amount of salsas for the amount of food we ordered ? But not gonna argue with an older lady over $10, just be aware you’re gonna be charged like $1 for each additional small pack Of salsas. Finally, not in the best location. Be careful, lock Your car and be prepared to bump into homeless people sleeping right next to the...
Read moreI have been a regular patron of this restaurant, often visiting with my significant other. Unfortunately, my recent visit today was extremely disappointing.
Previously, I've ordered the fish plate which was consistently served with two full-size catfish fillets. However, during my visit today at 10:00 AM, I ordered the same dish and experienced a significant decline in quality.
Firstly, the rice tasted old and as if it had been refrigerated. It lacked the freshness that I expect from a reputable establishment. The fries were soggy and undercooked, despite my request for them to be extra crispy.
The most glaring issue was with the fish itself. This time, the dish did not contain real catfish. Instead, it included a small piece of swai and an even smaller, nugget-sized piece on top of the fillet. When I raised this issue with the staff, they insisted the plate had always come with one full-size and one half-size fillet, which contradicts my previous experiences.
Despite my dissatisfaction, the staff were unwilling to address or rectify the situation. As a result, I have decided not to return to this establishment. While their tacos are decent, there are other options available where I can get better value for my money. A $15 plate should not include old, poorly cooked food, and I am highly disappointed with...
