We recently celebrated our brunch wedding at The Historic Dallas Jail, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. This historical venue is brimming with vintage charm and unique character—it provided the most stunning backdrop for our special day.

Our event had 45-50 guests. We utilized the gorgeous dual fireplace downstairs for our ceremony and held our reception upstairs. The space was the perfect size, and we were so thankful to have found an indoor venue that could accommodate both parts of the day so seamlessly. We were also delighted that this venue had all the decor we wanted—it made the planning process so much easier! Although, we did not need much- this venue is beautiful on its own.

The staff at The Historic Dallas Jail were absolutely incredible. Their attentiveness and professionalism were second to none. Throughout the entire event, we truly wanted for nothing. If there were any hiccups, we wouldn’t know—they handled everything so seamlessly that all we had to do was enjoy the day with our loved ones.

The Dallas Historic Jail exceeded all of my high expectations as our wedding venue for October 2024. The building itself has so much character and its charming & antique feel was exactly what I wanted, fitting perfectly into our "Bridgerton"- inspired theme. Victoria and her husband, Blair, owners of the jail, were extremely helpful in all aspects of planning and executing our special day. They were both present on our wedding day to oversee the event, and super accommodating to all of our needs. I handpicked much of our wedding decor and Victoria designed everything better than I could have imagined. They also took care of the cake cutting, distributing of the champagne, handling music playlists, etc. Our night was extremely special and they made sure that my husband and I didn't have to worry about any small details. The next morning when we arrived to pickup all of our decor, they had already taken the liberty to pack everything into the back room for easier pickup which was so convenient.
