This place was really cool. They have a Tony's ice cream section. They also have a part for little kids to play at. And just because I'm about to be a teenager and am way too old for that I played and it was really fun. They have a tablet and a projector that I could type something on, so I said stupid funny stuff like Gerard Way from MCR being slay and stuff, lol. They have a piano section that I really enjoy. I just wish that they would all work. Their gift shop is small but really pretty. I really like the art that they have there as well. I made a wallpaper for my phone with some of the pictures I took there. It's cottagecore/cryptidcore. I will put an update with it if google maps will let me. All in all I really like that museum. Another good museum is the...

This delightful museum is full of amazing artifacts & relics! Kent is super knowledgeable, friendly and is the local expert on textiles! He gave me plenty of insight about our history along with resources and book recommendations. Pat informed me about membership opportunities and Blues Out Back, so I’ll definitely be back for that!

This amazing and accessible museum exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend visiting, especially on a weekday. I really enjoyed Dr. Portia York’s exhibit as well as Niche Knits and learning how textiles shaped our county! This is truly where history comes alive, where the past meets the present and we all hope for a better future (by learning...

I was pleasantly surprised! One of the best museums I've seen. Hanna, gave me a warm reception and is quite knowledgable about the hotel building and surrounding communities. If you enjoy history, fine, old furniture and artifacts, you will LOVE this! And there is something for the children throughout the (now) 3 storied exhibit. The exhibits rotate, too, and there is a carriage house out back and a jail down the street and there are plans to expand to other buildings over the next 2 years. A small donation is requested and it is well worth your time. Especially if you have children of 5...

I really liked going here, I learned a lot of things I didn't know about this area. If you're a fan of Tony's Ice cream, you can go see the very cart it all started in! The whole museum is in an old hotel and right in the middle of a very historical area. Very nice worker and very informative! There's a little gift shop make sure you stop in to get one of their books of history. Play dress up with your kids, Stop in the carriage House to see the different styles and kinds there were, If you like art they have that too! It's a fun place for your family.
