For the first time in my life, I broke the screen on my iPhone - it really depressed me and I needed to get it fixed ASAP - I didn't want to look at a smashed screen any longer than I needed to.
I called at least 8 iPhone repair businesses to check prices; and, I want to try and get a sense of each businesses customer interaction skills. Seven of the businesses were in San Francisco - without exception, they were all MUCH MORE expensive than iPhone Repairing. I understand that San Francisco rents and overhead are more expensive; however, double the price for a screen seems excessive. Also, I didn't feel like the San Francisco vendors were particularly customer-friendly.
iPhone Repairing was the last place I contacted because it was in Daly City. I am very glad that I called - the experience from beginning to end was excellent. The owner, Imtiaz Khan, was pleasant, professional and patient - he also offered reasonable pricing and makes the customer feel confident that the problem will be fixed. These are all traits that people want when doing business within a retail environment.
In addition, Mr. Khan fixed my phone while I waited - I think it only took 15 minutes. However, I noticed that even if I had to wait, the business location was fantastic - there was plenty of parking and many other stores where I could have gone to maximize my time during the repair. There were coffee shops, grocery stores, and many places to have lunch. I didn't have to worry about getting a parking ticket or to feel like I was trapped in a location without something to keep me occupied.
To anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area who is looking for a place to get their phone repaired, I would suggest that you come to this location. It only took me 15-20 minutes to get there from San Francisco - trust me, it is NOT that far.
Overall, as you can tell by my review, I am extremely pleased with the experience - the phone works great, the prices were fair, and this is definitely a business that I...
Read moreIf you're anything like me, your phone is your lifeline. I use it for just about everything and always have it nearby. So when my trusty phone slipped from my hands, landed face-first on the street and shattered its screen, I stifled a panic.
Luckily, I was in bay area and iPhone Repairing was only a few blocks away. I walked in with growing anxiety. Not only was my phone screen shattered but my phone was now not even turning on. I was sure this would be the end of the line for my phone and I was equally sure I was going to lose all of the information I had not backed up. A pang of dread was welling up inside me as I handed my phone over.
Mercifully, I was wrong.
It took iPhone Repairing about 10 minutes to open up my phone and swap out the parts. I watched with baited breath and the worker, Khan, skillfully replaced my LED and screen and was stunned when he handed it back to me a short time later. It was good as new.
I was speechless.
I went from being on the verge of freaking out to being overwhelmed with gratitude. They calmed me down, fixed my phone and made my day. If ever you need your iPhone fixed, this is the place to go. They were quick, efficient, and true professionals. I am so grateful I was near their store when my phone took a dive, it could not have happened in a better location.
This place is fantastic!!! There are obviously lots of options online when it comes to repair places and I choose them because of proximity near me and their great reviews. They did. NOT DISAPPOINTED I received a friendly greeting upon arrival and he took care of me .
Thank you, iPhone Repairing, for your quick service and kind words. I will only go to you guys to get my phone fixed...
Read moreI HAVE ADDED A PICTURE OF MY RECEIPT TO MY REVIEW SINCE THEY RESPONDED AND SAID I WASN'T A TRUE CUSTOMER.
Truly what bothered me most was when they blamed me for scaring away another costumer, I would've gone in and spoken to him a third time if I wasn't so off put by his tone with me.
I have never left a bad review (OR ANY UNTIL NOW- that doesn't make me a fake account) before and maybe I caught the man on a bad day and it was a fluke battery (twice) but this was my experience: I was very happy the first time I went in to get my battery and cracked screen fixed, he was quick and friendly. I also left him a good tip. About two weeks later my phone was already dying after a few hours and my screen was acting up. I went back in and told him about the problems I was experiencing and he said he would look into it. When I returned to pick up the phone he seemed angry and told me that I "scared off another client" when I came in. I apologized but in my head kept thinking I'm also a client and simply following up about his services. He fixed the phone and didn't charge me and I went home- 3 days later the phone wouldn't even turn on. I had such a bad experience that I didn't even want to bother going back a THIRD time despite having warrantee. I ended up going to a new place. He has GREAT reviews so like I said in the beginning, maybe it was just a bad day and I sure hope so, but I felt inclined to share my not so...
