Mattress Firm Westlake Center — Hotel in Daly City

Just about everyone we know has been trying to sell us on a "mattress in a box" and why it's the best purchase they've ever made but being a little bit old school, we decided to go into the Mattress Firm in Daly City to see what they had to offer for President's Day. We were greeted with a high five from the store manager, Kenneth, and he pointed us in the right direction of mattresses we were looking for that were in our price range. He gave us our space to shop around and try things out but didn't forget about us. When we had questions about mattress types he gave us the information that we needed.

Being a holiday we expected to wait and Kenneth acknowledged how much he appreciated our patience multiple times (We only waited about 15-20 minutes while he helped finish up another customer AND had comfy beds to wait on). I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm to family or friends because we did not feel pressured by Kenneth, we appreciated his honesty and genuinely felt that he enjoys helping people find the best mattress for them.

I can tell you that before going in, we were dreading the process of getting a new mattress, we expected to pay almost 3 times what we ended up paying, and had the perception that someone would try to upsell us on things we didn't need. This is far from what happened and now I wish we had gone in to get a new mattress sooner!

Oh yeah! Also we anticipated having to arrange for time off work since we were buying a mattress during probably the biggest promotional sale of the year. NOPE. Also did not happen. Kenneth arranged for a Sunday delivery since that's what worked best for our schedule. Sunday delivery, who does that?! Not the mattress in a box people!

As soon as I walked in, I instantly felt like a VIP. The savage cat, Jamie told his customer to wait a few minutes so he could come assist me. Talked to me about my likes and dislikes for a minute or so, pointed me to a few beds and went right back to finishing his conversation with his primary customer. During the next 15 minutes or so I tried out a few beds in different positions. But there was only one, single bed, that caught my attention. The bed I deserved but didn't need. The bed that took every ounce of my willpower to move from. The bed that cuddled me like a children's teddy bear. The bed that fell in love with me. My baby. Little did I know, Jamie was already way ahead of me. As soon as Jamie was done, he already had concluded what bed he recommended for me. AND GUESS WHAT BED THAT WAS?! MY BABY. Jamie had me try out my baby in every position in all directions, to make sure she was right for me. After he saw how much we loved each other, he made it his duty to make sure that we stayed together. Before I made the final decision, I even called another local mattress sales company. The price was significantly higher than the package that Jamie and I had agreed upon. I am forever sold on Sleep train mattresses, and everybody who works within them.
