We visited from North Shore MA & when we got there we got to the front of the line and this woman came and asked if we had reservations. A total shock of disappointment ran through my mind cause we planned a fun getaway weekend from work & parenting. I mentioned how we came all the way from MA & wasn’t aware of needing to reserve online that we had tried to call a bunch of times but never reached a live person. She looked at me with compassion and said you know what.... go fill out the waivers and I’ll get you in just allow me time to get through the reservations. We didn’t know how long the wait was going to be but we traveled hours so might as well wait. I observed her briefly talk to customers, pick up trash from the floors in different places, & even saw her speak with the employees with kindness. We waited 5-10 mins & she came to find us. We followed her to the front desk and learned that she was in fact the owner. I was amazed by this because you typically don’t see this level of customer service from an owner. Sadly I’ve seen too many times that they hire employees to do the dirty work instead of being on the floor themselves. She told the cashier to let us in & I asked her, her name and was told Lisa, we thanked her and she went on her way. Our next close interaction was with the cashier named Kedwin. He helped us with an exceptional level of great customer service as well. It was our first time there and had no clue how to best use the time to go through their obstacle courses etc. He took the time to explain everything, lend suggestions and even some tips. I asked a bunch of questions and not once did I receive an impression of annoyance from him, a huff or sigh and for me that was everything. Traveling 3.5hrs to be welcomed into an establishment with this energy was such a great experience to a new place. Made our time there that much more enjoyable. Between the 4 of us adults we bought tickets to enjoy the place for an hour and it was perfect timing. The laser tag was booked but we got to also do axe throwing which was a first for us all as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience adding this to itinerary of a great time this passed weekend.
Thank you so much Lisa & Kedwin! We...
Read moreA true kid at heart, my nephew and I drove from Westchester, NY to have a fun Friday night. Unsure if we'd spend a full 2 hours, I went on a limb and purchased two Deluxe Bundles which included:
"2 hours Thrillz and Jumpz VR World or VR Ride Gyro Ride Safety Socks Free Parking"
Although we didn't use our coupons on the VR World or VR Ride OR the Gyro Ride, we actually did spend a full two hours between the high flying adventure park and the trampoline park. Despite being "gassed out" or "blown up" mid-way through, we had a BLAST. I fully intend on returning here again with more family and friends.
However*, I did dock a star for a few reasons. The main one being that there seemed to be no staff present near any of The Thrillz and the only staff present in the Jumpz area seemed occupied in the dodgeball area -- probably the most safe part of the trampoline area. Otherwise, there were three people at the receptionist desk and one person behind the foodcourt counter. This is a MAJOR RED FLAG because there were mostly elementary school-aged kids and middle schoolers running around without parental supervision. There were also kids not obliging by some of the rules such as, entering where one should exit, running and jumping in front of others, entering an area already being used by one or more people posing a possible weight capacity issue and more. Sure, there are waivers to be signed before checking-in for your time slot but this still poses a danger and safety concern for many people, the majority of them being children that are still developing mentally and physically.
That aside, I was bummed at the size of the arcade which is a nice touch to the business though. And lastly, to put it nicely, the bathrooms could have been a lot cleaner. Fix these things and this could be a GOLDMINE for entertainment of all ages. Offers lots of parking and excellent pricing for admission, locker rentals, food,...
