The associates at this store are rude, unwelcoming, and appear that they cannot be bothered. I will purposefully drive to other locations even though it's an additional 20 mins away just to have to avoid going here. They get frustrated with returns, do not greet you unless they believe you are going to make a purchase. I was in store to return 3 items I had purchased online. Upon walking in neither associate acknowledged my presence. While I was in line to make my return, a man and woman walked in and one of the associates welcomed them. The woman looked at something and promptly left (in store maybe 30 seconds total). The associate then says to the other associate "ugh I thought she was going to buy something." Read moreI walked into Torrid today as a couple of items at the front of the store caught my eye. I liked a pair of pants that were on a mannequin. I asked the associate, if she would direct me to the section it is in. She seemed annoyed and went to a section. She immediately said they do not have any more. I inquired if I could purchase the one on the mannequin. The response was a quick no. I then asked for another item, she again, responded with a no, they do not have any more of the item. Here is a suggestion...if you don’t have the items and won’t sell what is on display, take them down and get rid of them! Don’t bother shopping there as they don’t have much and the customer service...
Read moreI'm obviously all for a plus size store. I can kind of understand too, that overtime styles may change to suit latest trends I guess. But ever since they strayed away from the punk rock/goth/rockabilly style (not to mention pricing just creeping a tad high on just a pair of jeans lately) I'm not really super convinced I'm ever going to walk out of their with a confident purchase.
