Today was my first time going to the Davison Farmerās market. I didnāt realize there was an inside place with restaurants and stores. It was suggested that I eat at The Green Olive Tree or the Keto restaurant. We did one lap inside and then we decided to try the Middle Eastern restaurant.
Davison Farmerās Market is open every day from 8 am - 6 pm but there are some stores like, Crust that are only come in on Saturdays. This place gets quite busy on the weekend. Thursday was a bit quieter atmosphere or so Iām told. There wasnāt as many booths as a lot of the vendors only come in on Saturday.
John from one of the stores wanted my Mom to move her purse so the table next to us could be utilized by someone else except there wasnāt anyone else in the market that needed the table. The chef at The Green Olive Tree told him to leave her alone. After John left, my Mom placed her purse back on the table. I thought this was really weird considering the traffic inside the market was so slow.
We were also overcharged by The Green Olive Tree by about $2. I didnāt say anything but I wouldnāt eat here again.
I would definitely consider going to The Davisonās Farmers Market again as I would like to try out the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place IS NOT dog friendly. (I only walked around the outside portion) Iām so upset at what I experienced today with my large dog. I was walking out of the farmers market. The stand with produce on the right, the first stand you see when you walk up, was awful enough to make me bawl my eyes out in front of everyone. The old larger man was screaming at me, yelling at me, harassing me and not letting me leave. He was screaming about how the health department deemed this a no dogs allowed zone even though there was a woman with a 20lb dog literally 5 feet away from me and people with dogs all over the place, including some vendors. It was awful and I was so embarrassed I started intensely crying because I didnāt know what to do. The vendor next to them also selling produce saw it all happen. All 6 of them were staring not saying a thing and THEY were also a vendor that had a dog as large as mine. I also bought produce from that vendor so I thought theyād be nice enough to say something. How awful. This was only my second time coming. I had a great experience the first time, the second time was bad enough that Iāll never come back. This isnāt a dog...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLoved this place. So much to see! So many shops there I could find no reason to have to go to Meijer! I even met a friends Mom! That was amazing! Go see Dee at Porter's Orchard the cider has been fabulous š she even has cider mill donuts, but get there early! The Amish have a bake shop I arrived to late to get hand pies but hear they are wonderful. The rye bread was great and the young man was honest, he said the wheat didn't turn out great, I only have it out for people who keep insisting! Want meat? There is a great butcher shop. Cheese? They have that too! Dairy? Got Milk? YES in glass bottles from Calder's Dairy! Just to keep your head spinning, now step over to the gentleman who is busy working behind his mask š· with his gloved hands, you know someone is cooking but you can't find it? It is the guy behind all the olive oil!!! LOL š Ask him to make you a sandwich. We took the chicken shwarma home, even my 8 year old grandson ate half of my huge sandwich! Just go! Saturday is the big day but Tuesday was...
