We ordered through the application to get the discount on the pita bowl. We were informed based on the ticket that the order would be ready by 5:26pm. We arrived for the order and they were busy so naturally it takes longer for the orders to be fulfilled. That's both fine and fair. However, we had to wait an entire 45 minutes just for our order to be made. Meanwhile, they kept making every other person's order that was standing in line. Even though there were multiple parties waiting on online orders. They didn't say anything to any of us waiting other than, "We are waiting on fries". I'm sorry but even at most fries to cook only take minutes to make. Plus, our order personally didn't even have fries. Then, by the time they actually had our food made they didn't even know it had been made. The lack of communication between the employees is incredibly evident. Lastly, when it was time to receive the order they just gave it to us without even checking that everything was in the bag. Also, they didn't even know that we hadn't paid online. Had I not said anything I could have walked right out the door with the food without paying. When I asked if the pita bread was included for the bowl they said, "It should be". Absolutely terrible service, and the fact that they ignored all the online orders to keep fulfilling in restaurant orders instead of making the food in chronological order is ridiculous. Even if you're busy you should be fulfilling online orders as they come on. Not putting the orders aside and then leaving the orders unfinished for long periods of time. The staff at Pita Way tonight need more training, and better customer service skills. Had I demonstrated the kind of work ethic that we received while working in the fast food industry I would have been fired. A $5.00 coupon doesn't make up for the lack of quality that we received...
Read moreI stopped here for the first time last week and ordered a couple sandwiches and fries to go. They were good and the service was good. This experience made me want to try the mini platter, which, tonight, I did . . . regrettably.
I waited for a half an hour or more for my order. They apparently dropped a couple of the falafel and remade them. All the while, the rest of my food was sitting there in an uncovered foil pan. Needless to say, when I got it home, it was, at best, lukewarm. Further, the fries I ordered with it weren't included. I called and was speedily and cheerfully refunded the money for those (thank you).
Then we began to eat the meal and all I can say about it is, aside from the falafel which is fresh and tasty, it did not taste like any Middle Eastern food I have ever eaten and it did not compare favorably. All the meat was tough. The rice, which was supposed to have almonds in it and didn't, tasted funky, and the fattoush - especially the dressing, was just plain gross - a sort of sickly sweet vinegary concoction that was inedible. After having a taste of all of it, I threw it in the trash.
I'd go again, but I'd stick to a falafel sandwich and fries.
Addendum: After submitting this review, the manager called me to see if "we [could] work on the review." It sounded as if she wanted me to change it. She did provide a gift card to entice me to come back, and, like I said in the review, I would return for a...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE this place!! I’ve been here many times and every single time I come here the staff are 1000% amazing they help explain things so well. They are honestly the nicest people I’ve ever met. The most important part the food… the food is AMAZING!!! I always get the bowl one time I did get the “Quesopita” and it’s was sooooo good but i highly recommend the bowl bc you get more food for what u pay for!!! I’ll give this place 10 stars if I could. The ONLY thing I wish were different is even tho they are called “Pita Way” in my personal opinion their “Pita bread” is so gross like it taste fine I guess but it’s not pita bread at all it feels like the same texture as a parachute. But nowadays I won’t get the bread bc I can’t stand it I just with the corporate of Pita bread would actually give their company’s real pita bread but besides the bread EVERYTHING ELES IS...
