Dahlia Avenue Park — Attraction in Daytona Beach Shores

It was in a good convenient spot that was FREE :), along the road you take to try and park to get onto the beach over in Daytona. It was pretty packed for a week day (*on a Tuesday) but still had a couple parking spots and was very peaceful. Not a very packed park people wise, but it still would have been able to have had a couple people be able to come and squeeze in and fill in the rest of the parking lot. Discovered this location by accident the first time we visited Daytona several years ago. At that time, it was a very narrow parking area of about ten slots and an older bathhouse. During Covid, the lot next to the park was purchased and the park was completely bulldozed and renovated. More parking, new bathhouse and a playground for the kids.

We like this spot because it is easy in and out, and the beach is just steps...

Good beach, one of my favorites in the area. It has both stairs and a ramp. This beach is perfect for someone with kids. The ramp is big and I can bring a wagon down to the beach. There is a nice playground here for the kids and bathrooms. I like this beach due to the low tide and little pools forming on the beach for the kids to play in. I prefer this beach after 6 pm when there are no more vehicles...
