Wow, I've just discovered Top number 1 brewery in Florida and maybe in whole USA! There are many good breweries that brew good beers. This one has good beers as well. But what distinguishing it is Attitude! The barman just brought it to the next level! Let me explain. I was working all weekend in Miami. I had a day off and came to see Space launch at Cape Canaveral. Unfortunately it was canceled because of the weather. I stayed one night at Daytona Beach and I came to Dunes Brewery for a drink to release the stress. I ordered IPA, but when I gave my credit card for the Tap, barman said that is not needed. Ok, he is trusting me. Barman was busy talking to pink hair lady, I finished my beer and ordered blond ale. Both IPA and blond ale were very good. I finished my second beer and want to pay myself, but barman told me that is not needed, that I'm fine and it's a nice day! I travel a lot and I have been in many pubs and breweries cause I love beer. But this is the only place where I got beer for free and at the moment when I need it! I really hope that everything will go well in life for the barman (don't know his name) and for the brewery. If I could I'd gave 10 ot of 5 stars! Sorry I have only two pictures cause I was so pleasantly shocked that forgot...

An incredible find that was totally off the radar! Small craft brewery located behind the Dairy Bar (see separate review). Went here on a whim after finding the place while eating chili dogs from the place next door...glad we did. Nice, small selection of craft brews, seasonally selected and offered. I enjoyed the Endless Summer ale and a Down Under IPA, both were very nice. Wine and seltzer are also available for those who don't want beer. Food truck arrived shortly after we did and had nice snacks - food trucks are offered on Tuesdays and Fridays and rotate frequently. The vibe inside was awesome with games, shuffleboard tables (2), and free video games and pinball. Went back on Wednesday to enjoy "Wine Down Wednesday" with many popular wines offered at $5 a glass. At the bar, enjoy a free beer the next day if you order 3 the previous day. Needs better signage so you can find it, but they're working on it. Ample parking is available and it's a short drive from anywhere on the beach. A great place to hang out and have fun on a rainy afternoon (or anytime!). On Wednesdays they also offer a free (and comprehensive) charcuterie board so you can graze a bit while you enjoy a beverage....

I’ve been a loyal customer at this brewery for years. I bring my wife here for date nights. We meet friends here. We’ve supported this place from the beginning because it always felt like a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

But tonight, during bingo, I attempted to order some food from the Prost kitchen and was informed it was not available item was out of stock, so I ordered food from Jimmy hulas as a backup. Shortly after we received our food, a staff member notified us that outside food was not allowed. About 10 minutes later, a manager came by and also delivered the same message but her tone was much less friendly tone.

Historically, outside food has always been allowed and welcomed. If the policy’s different now, fine. But post it. Put it on the menu. Let people know.

The issue isn’t the rule. It’s the way it was handled. Being talked down to by staff and management like that, after years of supporting this place, is disappointing and honestly insulting. This is one of the better bars and breweries in the area but this interaction has left a sour taste in my mouth.

You can enforce a policy without treating loyal customers like they’re...

We stumbled on Dunes Brewing and so glad we did!!! My husband enjoys craft beers and said he really enjoyed what he had!! I was happy they had wine as I am not a big beer drinker. The wine was served via a cruvenet to it kept the wine fresh. I was going to have a glass of the Chardonnay and that was not part of the cruvenet. our bar tender Mike tried the open bottle and was not happy with the the taste of the wine and was ready to open a new bottle. He assured me he would pour me a nice glass but I choose something different. Mike was great really made our time there fun!! Equally fun was being able to play pinball and shuffle board for free that is only part of the games offerings!! What a great atmosphere....we stopped in for a quick taste and to check it out. We ended up spending a couple hours there!! A food truck arrived as we were getting ready to leave. This is a must stop and we will be back before we leave the area....wow what fun!!!
