MIMIS CKIES & CRM BAR — Restaurant in Daytona Beach Shores

Chocolete chip cookies are a big part of my sweets life..so I decided to try mimi's...it is in a food truck behind a business but not to worry there is plenty of parking...so now to the cookies...with a 4.9 I came in with extremely high expectations...I can say the cookie was good but didn't wow me.I feel like it was slightly on the too sweet side...only if there was some flaky salt on top it would have taken it from a good cookie to a great cookie...yes it was good and do recommend a try...I also took 2 more chocolate chip cookies home to warm up and sprinkle flaky salt on top to cut some of the sweetness..and boom...just what tipped it over the edge to a fantastic cookie also tried the birthday cake cookie with icecream and same thing good but on the too sweetside forsure...flaky salt on top is key to the balance but all in all I did enjoy my visit and will be back to...

I find it frustrating that I have to pay an extra $3 when I order the ice cream sandwich, which is essentially two cookies and 1 scoop of ice cream, and ask for it deconstructed. After a long day at the beach, all I wanted was to enjoy some ice cream at home, not eat it outside or in my car. I requested the Mimiwich deconstructed because we all know that putting cold ice cream on a warm cookie makes it extremely hard, real fast. However, I was then told that it would cost $3 more for the exact same thing, just served separately. It feels unreasonable to pay extra for something that should come naturally without an additional charge. Transparency and fairness in pricing are crucial for businesses to maintain customer satisfaction. If there are better alternatives available, I might consider exploring...

After having dinner my significant parallel decided to get something sweet to treat our family. This is one of her favorite places to go for fresh made cookies. It did not disappoint in any way shape or form. I had the snickerdoodle which was perfectly soft, sweet, warm, and everything that’s right in the world right now. It really carried the classic taste of freshly homemade cookies and decent size. It has cute little area with book rental, corn hole, and small sitting area. The aesthetic is a perfect beach vibe in Daytona and deserves a nice shout out for being on point with delicious baked goods and ice cream. I look forward to trying the other variety of cookies in the future. Definitely worth a quick stop to eat there or...
