The pool facilities are great but the some of the staff that works there is not capable of doing anything else then just talking to his friends for hours . No attention at all to kids and what is going on in the pool . Maybe that fine with the staff but not for me and my kids . Also one time we forgot our gaggles and ask to borrow one for a bit and they said that not possible. Then a few weeks later that have a whole bucket full of gaggles ?! Really ? Was it that hard to borrow one of 30-40 pairs sitting?! Need work and training to be nice and help people .also today since I write the review there was a throw up ( huge ) and the 2 lifeguards were still talking . Someone from the staff came and put white powder over and kids were stepping into and go to the water and they still not aware ?! Wow ! Finally an elderly lady put chair so the kids stop putting the mess into water . This is too much...
Read moreVFW Park in DePere is a great place to swim, play tennis, or Pickleball. The Park has a great swimming pool with a high slide, high dive, and a separate wading area for small children. Come early if you want to get in or you may have to wait because only so many are allowed in at a time. Seemed like the wait may have been 1/2 hour or less as there are classes that end and swimmers leave after class. There is a challenging area where you walk across inner tubes if you can. Lots of lifeguards. You can buy snacks from the poolside or outside the pool....

The new playgound is lots of fun, near the restrooms, and handicap accessible. As of Oct 2019, the ground surrounding the new playgound was still under construction so no benches for parents.
