Spent over $400 on three suits in their store, just for two pairs of my suit pants to fall apart. The first pair I called about and the owner said to bring them in, but I went to my own tailor, because I needed a same day alterations on some other items for an emergency trip I had to make out of town. I called about a second pair as well, because the weave of the fabric on the pants started falling apart. The suits were cheap and I was aware of that, but out of every off the rack or polyester suit I have worn, these are the only suits I have owned to fall apart. When I bought the suits in August, they may have been expensive suits to the owner, but I found them online for $100 each. You all were trying to charge me $200 for each and it wasn’t even worth that with the markup. Then on top of that, last night when I came in, the same man that assisted me with my first sell tried to tell me I was SOL with the situation, even though I showed him the pants. I didn’t even ask for a refund at first, I asked could the pants be switched out for a new pair and that was a no. Then tried to find every excuse as to why it was my fault the pants ripped. Sir, I’m a receptionist, not a linebacker. Those pants shouldve never ripped like that. To put the cherry on top the other guy working with him asked about the issue in English and the other guy responded in what I think was Arabic and they had a full conversation about it in another language. If you weren’t trying to play me, you wouldn’t have done that in my face. I asked for the owner and they wouldn’t answer my question as to if he was in. When I asked if there was anyway I could be compensated at all, he first offered me the same suit for free, then backtracked and said 50% off or $100. I told him I could get a suit for less at K&G and he agreed. If they are that cheap, offering a similar item for little to no cost to a regular customer should be no issue. Every K&G suit I have has outlasted these three suits I had and were of a better stitched quality. If he had been a bit more mindful of what happened last night, I had actually planned on buying another suit I needed aside from the exchange I wanted, but that’s their loss. I’ll never shop here again or refer anyone...
Read moreWent yesterday to go get a tuxedo for my fiance for our wedding coming up in October. Was expecting it to be a long process of flipping through suits and trying on multiple things… but I was WRONG! The guys in the store were so helpful. They took one look at my fiance, one look at my inspo picture, and got a tux in his size with all the accessories ( vest, shirt, tie, pocket hanky) in less than 10 minutes. He tried it on, it fit like a glove and looked fantastic. They even offered to hem the length of the pants for $20 which was great. We paid less to BUY the whole thing with all of the items than it would’ve costed to RENT it from anywhere else. He said he would have the pants hemmed today, so we’re picking it up today. 10/10 will be recommending because the experience was...
