I'm going with a five star because I've been here before and had a pleasant previous experience. However....
I had dinner at the Mexican spot across the street this evening. I wanted to treat myself with a new wine, as I looked across the street while I ate. I'm excited for a special, community market for a new wine when I walk in. I pick two bottles and go to the counter. My WHOLE vibe went south when I'm smiling and say hello to the young man at the counter. He DID NOT RESPOND and proceeds to ring me up and tells me my total. At first, I thought, maybe he's hearing impaired. But he wasn't. He bags my two bottles in one paper bag. I ask if he has another smaller bag to separate my bottles. He looks around then hands me a single bottle paper bag.
It was not a good customer experience, especially when I was happy to go inside for this experience. It is a SUPER CUTE market and I will try again. I was going to walk BACK in to talk to the manager but this is faster. I have things to do!

Read moreThis market is a gem. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite, need a full dinner, picking up high-quality meats, or grabbing local goods, the experience is always top-notch. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in what they do.
Their butcher counter is outstanding—offering some of the best cuts around, along with expert advice if you’re not sure what to get. The prepared foods are equally impressive; everything tastes fresh, thoughtfully made, and full of flavor. Their sandwiches, in particular, are fantastic.
I also love the selection of local products, from fresh produce to craft sauces and pantry staples you won’t find at big-box stores. It’s clear they’ve curated everything with care.

Read moreWhat a cozy, dependable market tucked quietly in the heart of Oakhurst! Coming to this area on a breezy summer evening, you’re sure to see that the plaza is packed with people at all the establishments, and Oakhurst Market sits right among them. The interior is rustic-themed, and the selection of items is exquisite - baked goods, cheeses, sandwiches, meats, fresh produce, and more.
The cake selection was stunning, and - in particular - the Limoncello Cake was decadent, moist, tart, and simply perfection. (Haven’t tried their Oreo Cheesecake yet, but I can’t wait to eventually try this and more!) I’d asked a couple of the (very kind and helpful) employees what their dessert recommendations would be, and they did not disappoint with these two cake choices. Would recommend this place...
