I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the customer service experience I encountered during my recent visit to Oakview with my mother. As a frequent traveler and an enthusiast of boutique-style coffee shops, I was initially captivated by the ambience of your establishment.
However, my enthusiasm quickly diminished due to the discourteous behavior exhibited by one of your staff members, specifically the gentleman stationed at the cash register. Despite my inquiry about the inclusion of espresso in my drink, his response was laced with sarcasm, which left me feeling slighted and undervalued as a customer. It is worth noting that my query was merely intended to ascertain if your establishment follows traditional drink recipes or incorporates its own unique twists, a common practice among coffee shops.
While I must commend the quality of the coffee, the overall experience was marred by the lack of warmth and hospitality demonstrated by your staff. As someone who values exceptional customer service, I believe it is imperative for your team to prioritize professionalism and courtesy in their interactions with patrons.
I trust that you will address this matter promptly and implement measures to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve. Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I hope to see positive changes...
Read moreSituated in the perfect corner of it all, it is clear to see that Oakview has brought the community together. This enormous coffee shop sits multiple tiers above a simple walk-in/walk-out café, for this venue had a line of community members out the door from the moment I walked in. Inside, there were parents doing homework at the tables with their kids, people catching up over books, and a few others working on their laptops. Not to mention, Harmony Park and the Oakhurst Farmer’s Market (on Saturdays) are across the street as well.
The food came out quickly after I ordered, and the employees were so kind and coordinated in their efforts. The Almond Croissant had a lovely amount of marzipan inside with great textural contrasts among the rich pastry, almond topping, and marzipan filling.
Overall, I love this place. What’s not to like, knowing you’ll get objectively good food paired with such a beautiful experience? This comforting locale truly is a brightest star near the...
Read moreAn absolute pleasant surprise of a fine. Wasn't expecting to add this coffee shop to my rotation but this place is everything you want in a coffee shop. Is located in a low traffic neighborhood, there's plenty of seating for even the busiest time of day, it's easy to do work or have a business meeting because the house music is not too loud, there are plenty of wall outlets to keep your laptop and phones charged up, and lastly the selection of good coffee and tea choices are in abundance. Also there's plenty of seating outside for good weather days if you prefer that. The only thing that can be tricky if you're there for the first time it's parking. There's parking in front of the building as well as on the side of the building and then there are other restaurants in the vicinity that you can park and walk across the street to the coffee shop as well but once you go once or twice you kind of get a feel for where to go to park for...
