Taj Ma-Hound Bakery for Dogs — Restaurant in Decatur

I visited this bakery today to celebrate my boy Cane's belated birthday 🎂 because he was feeling much better than last month. My little boy is extremely 💙 picky. The owner knew exactly 💯 somehow what to give him and we left with muffins, ice cream which he ate half of in the store and some Sunday Dinner home baked treats. 😋 Listen I personally ate half of his muffin.... yes you heard right, they were baked fresh with human grade ingredients and let me tell you how moist and delicious they were. I don't live on that part of town but since I know have to replace my boy's muffin... how can I not and this time, I'll get two. The shop is beautiful and felt like home made love. I love the passion this owner put into this. You certainly can feel her love ❤️ for animals and her baking. Definitely a win in my book. We have been using Taj Ma-Hound for a couple of years and have always had a great experience with them! We throw birthday parties for pups in our facility and we use their birthday cakes and their awesome assortment of treats that they always have available. We usually order our cakes well in advance and have never been disappointed. Once we failed to order soon enough but the folks at Taj Ma-Hound had our backs and made sure the cake was ready in time.

Coming from a facility who holds itself to a high standard we cannot recommend Taj Ma-Hound enough. Their shop is cute, quaint and very clean. Their service has always been friendly and they're willing to go above and beyond to please their customers which is a quality we respect. If you ever get the opportunity to stop by you absolutely should. This place was great for my dog's cake for her birthday. I do something for her birthday every year, and I have never gotten her a cake before. They had it ready same-day, and the price is not bad for the ingredients. She has a sensitive stomach, and the pink customizable barkday cake did not affect her at all! I did give her her daily canine probiotics along with it, just in case. It did, however, affect one of her party guests, who is usually able to eat anything, but she just had gas and soft poop for a half a day, nothing serious.
