Plumtree Center — Attraction in Decatur

ALDI is a chain store but I wasn't familiar with it before. I heard weird tales of having to rent a shopping cart ($0.25 but refundable if you return the card to the stand) so I was a bit put-off by that.

SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) had visited and liked it. I was brought me along next time. Many of the brands were unfamiliar to me so I asked Mr Google. Evidently these brands are imports from various places like Germany. I tried them and they are good. I don't think we've gotten anything with poor quality, so don't be hesitant to experiment with the house brands.

Pretty decent shopping center. Plenty of stores unlike some other shopping centers in the Decatur area. Plenty of parking and fairly easy to get in and out of. Also nice to have a great little restaurant there. It's well maintained and the parking lot is usually clean and the upkeep is great compared to other shopping centers in the area. Also having a dollar general 8n it is great for going to one shopping centers to get multiple things done without driving all over town. Pretty nice...

I love Aldi, which is the only reason we go to this shopping center. Their prices are great. Their cashiers are friendly. The only problem is their selection varies from week to week. You'll be able to get something for months, then it will vanish. If you forget your bags, just grab an empty box and use it. After you get used to shopping here, going anywhere else will...
