My family has been attending games at this facility for 20+ years. For the amount of money the part pulls in with tourney fees & gate fees it should be one of the nicest park in the metro area; but it’s not. We were there this weekend again and parking is awful. Not near enough for the amount of families attending games. For grandparents that have health issues or struggle to get around, they honestly should NOT come. The walking distance from the car to the entrance gate is extensive, then once in the park if your child is playing on 1 of the back fields. The walk is very long. The grounds this weekend was full of large mud puddles, that families had to find alternative ways to get to their field. Even when the grounds are free of mud from rains. The grounds a barren and dusty. The Oklahoma wind just creates a dust bowl on those windy days. Efforts need made to enhance the bleacher with some shad cover and addition concession & a bathroom facility at the back end of the park would be amazing.
The Sunnylane Ball park hold many memories for my own children and now I’m getting the opportunity to make memories with my grandchildren there. I would love to see the park make improvements for the many families that spend 100’s of hours there each season. They...
Read moreI don't usually do reviews but I felt like I should warn parents about this facility. They will not allow team coolers (stupid but whatever). They do NOT supply the players water in the dugout. They will allow your child to bring in a water jug BUT will NOT fill it with ice. Playing in the heat all day, a child needs more than one jug of water. I bought 6 of their waters and all I asked was for some ice for her jug and they said "by law they do not have to supply ice". Then let us bring our own!!! They are also very rude about it (probably because they have so many upset parents). They are very money hungry but the fields are CRAP!! They don't think about the health of the children. It's all about making an extra dollar. Our team was not the only team upset. We won't EVER be back and neither will a lot of the teams that played this weekend. If your coach wants to play here, I strongly urge you to find a...
Read moreExtremely disappointed in how management handled a serious incident during a 10U tournament.
A coach from the opposing team — who goes by multiple names due to a criminal record — intentionally spit in his hand before shaking our 10-year-old girls’ hands because of personal issues with our head coach. This was confirmed by multiple witnesses, including parents and players.
Despite several of us reporting this to the manager, Blake, we were met with a dismissive response, claiming nothing could be done since he didn’t personally see it.
On top of that, our girls played four consecutive games in 90-degree heat with no break due to poor scheduling.
This was handled unprofessionally, and I hope the complex re-evaluates its leadership and protocols to protect...
