Sara’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Del City

My family and I went a few days ago and as we walked in, the restaurant was completely empty but my family and I didn’t think much of it. I ordered the sirloin steak with garlic toast & my husband got the burger. I’m not exaggerating when I say they served me a burger Patty with diced onion on top and the thinnest white toast. At first maybe I thought they just didn’t have steak and I really hate confrontation so I ate it but after another couple walked in, he ordered the same thing as me and did in fact receive a full size steak and garlic toast. I was in disbelief, not only that but I got charged full price for a plate I did not order. I don’t want to believe this was a passive aggressive racist move but it surely felt like it (my family and I are visibly Latino and the other couple was not). I still paid my food and tipped our waitress 15%. We. Love to support local businesses but after this we are never returning to this establishment and I hope any other poc that sees this review also avoids it.

This place is Way Too Pricy for everything and the food wasn't that great...what an upset. We came for the catfish and were a little disappointed. We Dinned in for the 'All you can eat Catfish' for $19.99 it was.... Overpriced and the waitress didn't serve us more than 3 small pieces and never came back for a refill... because they were short on staff. The service was so slow we couldn't get a second catfish plate and they were out of onion rings too. And, everything fried taste the same. Ugh so I had to complain... Cons Staff unsure who is taking care of what tables so you may be asked multiple times the same questions Staff after giving menu did not give much time before they began asking if we were ready to order. Food was bland The paying spot is the entry and so it can get cramped fast
