Del City Library - Metropolitan Library System — Attraction in Del City

I recently discover this library in Del City, and I was not expecting such a bad experience . It is extremely loud , people answering phones and kid running around, yet the staff doesn't try to control the situations. I don't expect it to be a 24 hour house keeping but a nice cleaning up once in a while from the staff would help the bathrooms that are always trashy. one of the most annoying thing I experience was guests constantly yelling in the computer station either to a different person on a computer or across the library to get a staff members attention . I do apologize for the complain but a library should not be a loud as this one is .

Wonderful little library. Very clean and seems to be very organized. Anytime I'm looking for a book it is where it is supposed to be. Thank you librarians. 😊 I seen one other review touching on a note that I can join in on. One particular snippy librarian does work there but so far just that one. Her tone is questionable but she gets her job done. Just irrites me because she intimidates the kiddos I bring but the world is full of different people. I love this library because it offers solitude to read and study but if doesn't feel institutionalized and isolated. Very welcoming. We will continue to go back and support our community facilities. This is in response to the complaint about the gentleman with the laptop. The man who has the problem with him was mad because he did not get the big table in the corner. So instead of being an adult about it and move to another table. He decided to make up things about the gentleman. I have seen and talked to the gentleman with the laptop. He is very nice very helpful with his knowledge of the library and the city itself. I have seen him help people in and outside of the library. Yes he does laugh out loud sometimes but not enough to disturb people. I just wish people would grow up and stop telling lies about people because they don't...
