Read moreBy far, this is my favorite local play ground/park in DeLand. I really love getting out every day for a walk or light jog. E.B. Park acomodates me with a mile loop around it's pretty man-made lake. There is also a workout station to do bench presses, sit ups as well as a roman check as it for leg raises. Yes this is where I go to stay fit. Doesn't cost me a cent, like a gym could. The park has 2 pretty water fountains that spurt up and out a block high, that's in the man made lake. There are lovely trees and foliage and picnick table as well a habacci grill to.take advantage of to. A kiddy playground for the little ones and a full dose basket ball court to boot. There is also great stage and a resource center benefit hall . I really love that our town utilizes this park for holding events . Love it....
Read moreLovely park, nice facilities. Skateboard ramp, lake, walkways, stage, restrooms, pavilions w picnic tables. But when we went last 11/14 for a picnic, there were no tables available that weren't being used by homeless. We finally found a table where City maintenance workers were sitting & shared a space w them. But there was a semi dressed man w a suitcase in this pavilion, lying on his back taking up 2 tables next to us. He didn't appear to be breathing until a motorcycle went by & he suddenly sat up & shouted something we didn't understand. And then he went back to wherever he was mentally before. We wish there was a place w help for ppl who need help. Can't see us planning a trip back here...
