La Calentana has the best of everything! I pretty much have ordered a lot of the dishes they have on the menu, and I have done my Mexican grocery shopping inside this little restaurant / mi market. And their meats are really affordable and great for those delicious ethnic dishes. I can order a California Burrito and it’s enough for my wife and I. And if we order a large Horchata, everything comes up to $15. That’s $7.50 per person and it’s very satisfying. Now, if we go to Chipotle, we end up paying anywhere between $30-$35 for the both of us. And with how prices keep going up, I think La Calentana is the way...

We used to live in Deland and have moved to Jacksonville. We have been searching for a place in Jacksonville for Tacos but only to be discouraged. We drove down to deland and wanted to stop by here to get some good tacos and a torta. We were afraid our anticipation would only lead to disappointment, however the opposite happened. We were totally blown away at how neat the tacos were stacked, how much meat they placed in each one and how amazingly delicious they were with the freshly made corn tortillas.
