One of the gentlemen who work here was super overly in a hurry with me last time I came in. I haven't been back to this location since because honestly I don't know when to go to avoid him and his very lackluster suggestions. I feel like everyone who works at this store is sponsored by habit because man it's terrible every time but its the first and sometimes only suggestion they give. He was working alone the last time I came in and Im picking things out when another customer comes in, I am pretty much done and ready to ring out though. He takes me to the register that for some reason STILL doesn't have the point machine at it??? which I didn't know at the time. So he's rung it up he tells me the cost and I had him the card and I'm like but wait what about the points, he doesn't hear me and keeps going saying he was going to ring me out and go help her. Card is scanned transaction is completed? "I ask again but what about using the points?" I wanted to grab free stuffs(pretty much 100% this is the only reason any of us do this let's be honest) and he goes oh then he hands me the store copy of the receipt and says just your number on here I'll get them added after. Didn't offer me a bag or even actually listen to the words coming out of my mouth, which I'm a private person the whole world doesn't need to know what I purchased I know other people feel different but I mean...common customer service skills? He jetted off to the other side of the store to help her and I reached over the counter and got myself a bag so I could have something to carry my purchase in. I let him know on my way I put that the only reason I leaned over was to get a bag because he didn't bother offering one or listen to me ask for one as he's rushing off. I don't believe my points were ever added because when I went to the fm location I didn't have any additional points on my account. Maybe it was just timing but it was at least a few days later. Idk if I'm gonna come in and be buying stuff I don't want to feel like the burden in the store just because your doing your job and helping me and cashing me out. But ignoring customers who are trying to use your own point system that you chose to put in these store is not very customer service like. Just very much not a good experience. I had been going to Planet Smokies for a while and here recently just wanted to try this shop out again. Not really worth the swap tbh. And other smoke shops have much better point systems...
Read moreMy friends and I are angry and disappointed with the recent closing of the smoking lounge. This is a tobacco and vape shop where all the customers and all the employees smoke in the shop. In the past two years, one employee has constantly complained that the "cigars stink". She has said that the complaints come from customers, but we have only heard pleasurable comments from patrons. This employee brought these so-called complaints to my attention again recently, and the owner spoke with me personally prior to closing the lounge telling me that he had noticed the smell. This after two years of me smoking the same brand of cigar in his shop. Gee, I wonder where that came from. Two days later, the lounge was closed, and no one would tell us why. We finally cornered the owner in the store, and he told us he was trying to increase his vaping business and that people who vape don't want to come into the shop and smell cigar and cigarette smoke. That's right, no smoke in the smoke shop because it's offensive to the employees and customer base all of whom smoke. The bottom line is it's his business to do with as he pleases, but the way this was handled and the way we were treated was inconsiderate and unprofessional. The owner and employees lied to our faces, the faces of long-time, loyal customers. Needless to say, we are taking our business elsewhere. The one thing that made this business unique was that indoor smoking lounge. No one else had one. Congratulations Texas Tobacco. You are now just another smoke and vape shop.
Oh, by the way, the owner smokes cigars in the shop.

Read moreI’ve been using this shop for a couple of years now. They USED to be pretty good, now it’s AWFUL. The employees are just not educated in vape products. I had purchased a new vape from them and after a couple of weeks I needed new pods. I walked in, took my vape out of my pocket and told them I needed replacement pods. I showed them what I was using and asked them to sell me the right product. The “associate” sold me replacements and since I had been doing business with them before, I trusted their judgement, paid, and left without getting a receipt. Save paper, right? WRONG! It turned out that the pods were not only WRONG, but management refused to swap them out for the right ones after I attempted to return them the next day!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!
If you happen to do so, TAKE THE RECEIPT. As they are likely to sell you the wrong product. Simply put, they have no idea what they are selling!
This all happened on the Main Street location in Denison. I had previously mentioned to the associate that I primarily dealt with Chelsea, but was informed that she had not only been sent to work the Morton location, she has also been on maternity leave since she just had a baby. No worries, I reluctantly trusted the other staff to get it right. Unfortunately they didn’t. When I came back to return my pods for the correct exchange, the associate called the manager, to which the manager REFUSED to make things right.
