Like most of the other 1 star reviews my issue is with the covid guard at the front door, my husband, myself, and my 2 yr old daughter came in today, my husband and myself had on a mask however my toddler most certainly did not. He told me she needed a mask, I kindly let him know she was only 2 and not capable of wearing a mask, he then stated again that she needed a mask, once more I said "she is 2 she cannot wear a mask, she will rip it off." It was then that this young man found it appropriate to yell at me and say that she needed a mask if she was going to walk if not we would have to hold her. We spend A LOT of money at this establishment but after being yelled at over something like that we will just take our business to amazon where the prices are cheaper anyways. Also it was weird to me that when we went a few doors down to the toy store owned by More fun that her not wearing a mask...
Read moreReally a comic shop with a nod to board, card, and tabletop games. If you're looking for interactive games and puzzles for all ages, walk down the street to the other "More Fun" store.
Large selection of comics and graphic novels, tabletop dice, collectible magic cards (bulk, not singles), etc. Board game selection was not as good as Common Ground in Dallas but also included a lot of less popular games to explore. Figurine game on-point, including discounted and clearance items.
Seemed to be full of regulars. Large paint section for Warhammer and the like. Curiosities abound.
Store is cramped and layout is very strange. Store is not zoned by games, figs, cards, comics but is rather a blender of nerdy goodness. Some spaces were legitimately hard to get through, and impossible to traverse if another patron is...
Read moreI usually love going to this store. Recently, I accidentally entering the store without a mask. Totally my fault, I haven’t been leaving the house much so it’s not second nature for me to grab my mask. The employee immediate started yelling at me that I had to have a mask, so I apologized and turned to leave. He continued to follow me out of the store and yelled at me that is was a state law to wear a mask. I told him that I made a mistake and he kept yelling at me. I was legitimately terrified from the encounter. I get that times are difficult, but he didn’t need to follow me out of the store while yelling at me. I attempted to contact the owner about the incident, but didn’t receive a call back. We will not be back to this business after the way I...
