Denton - Historical Park — Attraction in Denton

Beautiful two acre park just three blocks from the Downtown Denton Courthouse on the Square. It's home to Denton's largest outdoor market: the Denton Community Market every Saturday April - November @ 9am - 1pm. Georgeous landscaping of edibles, herbs and native species cared for by Denton County and the Denton County Master Gardeners. The park is also home to the historic Bayless Selby House Museum, the Quakertown House and a third historic home that acts as the park's downtown visitor center. Best time to go is Saturday mornings. Denton farmers market is held here. Lots and lots of vendors. Go early if you want farm fresh milk, eggs and meat and produce from local farms. Lots of other offerings. One of my must stops is for gingerbeer. Happy shopping...
