Erin is a wonderful groomer! She has been grooming my sheepadoodle Bella for several years and I would never take her to anyone else! My dog has a lot of anxiety and had several bad grooming incidents when she was a puppy, including groomers locking her in a kennel for hours on end. She pants the entire time out of fear and had several groomers ridicule me for her snapping or growling at them after several hours of grooming because they kept giving her “breaks” in the kennel, despite my insistence that she needed to be done all the way through. When I found Erin, I explained that she is a sweet dog who is just totally terrified and needs to be done all the way through; the panting (what really looks like doggie hyperventilating) doesn’t get any better by leaving her in the kennel to try and calm her down. She totally understood and explained to me that she does one dog at a time and would do her all the way through. I was really nervous, but it was perfect! Erin said Bella did wonderfully, no growling or snapping, and she got her done in about an hour and forty-five minutes! I’ve been taking Bella to see Erin every 2-3 months since then and while Bella hates being groomed, she always loves seeing Erin! Bella always looks fantastic and she is much less stressed working with Erin. Erin grooms her quickly and Bella has gotten much more comfortable over the years, and I love how kind Erin is to her; one day I arrived early to pick Bella up and could hear Erin repeatedly telling Bella what a good girl she was. My pup and I love Erin! She is a fantastic groomer, and my dog always comes home clean and content. I especially appreciate that she uses environmentally friendly products and practices. Having had a poor experience with a different groomer in the past, I was nervous to take him somewhere new, but Erin takes the time to help her dogs feel comfortable and happy with the grooming process, and she schedules her clients so that they never have to sit in cages. Because of this, the shop stays quiet and peaceful. My pup prances in and out of Erin's shop and is always happy to see her, which goes a long way for me as a pet parent!
