Montclair Park — Attraction in Denver

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at this beautiful venue. The ceremony was on the lawn with guests seated on blankets along the hill. Inside the historic building is the perfect place for your caterer to set up. Tables can be arranged on the balcony for dining too. The park has plenty of space for lawn games like croquet and cornhole to keep guests entertained. There is even a small playground. It's a decent sized park in the Montclair neighborhood. They just put in a new tennis court and a horseshoe pit. 🤨 I guess that's a nice update. However I think the focus should have been on a basketball court or the playground. The playground is incredibly dated and small. Many young families are moving into the neighborhood, and I think this would have been a more appropriate renovation. The word is that it's "in the works", so...

Tree limb crushed playground equipment, playground closed as of 8/9/22. Tennis courts still open and undamaged. Posting this so others can see that it's closed.

Otherwise it's a lovely well shaded playground when it's not damaged. Hope they don't remove the whole tree and just replace the equipment bc there are no other well shaded playgrounds...
