I can’t believe I’ve lived in this city for four years and didn’t know about this magnificent park until now! It’s so incredibly gorgeous and amenities-full. There’s a playground, tennis court, pickleball court, a ton of picnic tables, and beautiful trees. The loop path around the park is well-maintained, and I’ve loved seeing kiddos and older folks be able to bike recreationally around the lake. There is a bike rack in the middle of a bunch of picnic spots. The only negative is the lack of speed cushions installed in perimeter roads. People tend to speed and rev their engines here and they can do so because DOTI hasn’t done a thing to ensure otherwise. Read moreThis is our local park, and we love it. There are reeds along the lake. We saw a heron, a red cheeked black bird, mallards, geese and jumping fish on our last visit. There is a well- paved path around the lake, a basketball court, horseshoes, a playground, and outdoor gym equipment. There are also picnic tables, some of which have chess boards. There are tennis courts that are being renovated and there's a soccer field. It's dog friendly and never that busy. There's plenty of street parking.
