New Saigon Market is a great place to go for Asian groceries and household goods. There's plenty of room for shopping carts. Compared to the grocery store in Far East Center, this one has space that a wheelchair could go into. It does not have extensive collection of stuff from Thailand, but it does have enough of Asian and Chinese items to make it all worthwhile trip for me. I also like that they have boiled peanuts. It's usually out by 6 or 7 p.m. but if you get there early enough you can get the boiled peanuts. Also they have a very good and expensive meat department. Their fresh fish case/area had lives crabs thrown I to a bin on the floor, outside of water, causing them to die painfully and slowly! Terrible to watch them struggle. Also very hard to navigate because there are boxes and boxes stacked everywhere in which would normally be customer walking spaces....
