Thai Nails House By Ann — Attraction in Denver

I really wanted to like this place and have come here many times but I won't go somewhere where I'm discriminated against. Anne, the owner is very nice to all her white clients but distinctlychooses not to greet me or speak to me at all. When other clients walk in she greets them, talks to them and when they are finished she'll help them put shoes on. The way she treats me is quite distinct. She doesn't greet me, ignores me when I greet her and purposely goes out of her way not to help or greet me. I was left in a chair for over 20 minutes without assistance and I finally had to get up by myself. I'm surprised she took my payment. I asked her if something was wrong and she brushed it off and once again ignored me when I said thank you. I'm not expecting special treatment but I do expect professionalism when I am spending my HARD EARNED money here every few weeks. I will no longer come here and recommend if you are a person of color do NOTspend your money here as she clearly only loves her white clients which is truly disheartening to feel as a person of color.

I asked you today if anything was wrong and you said no. And in response to the reason for the bad treatment from you, I missed one scheduled appointment, that is all. I arrive on time for my appointments. Today when I arrived at my time, another client was being attended by my tech and I was kept waiting for 30 minutes past my scheduled time. I was not given an apology. When I left, you did not look up from cash register to help me Ann. The clients who were there when I was there you smiled, acknowledged them and asked them how they were doing and assisted with sandals. You purposely ignored me and I was ready to go, you heard and saw me struggling to get out of the chair and did not offer to help. It was petty behavior. And when I paid and said thank you, you once again purposely ignored me. It is not professional behavior to give a client the silent treatment. If you believed I did something wrong the time to clarify it was in person or when I called for another appointment. I specifically asked if anything was wrong because you seemed mad and you said no, but now on-line you are writing a different story. Please do not give false information about something that did not happen. I don't like being made to feel as if I'm not wanted somewhere and that's what your behavior towards me the last several visits has...

Buyer beware this nail salon is in a nice area and a nice setting an environment also the staff are nice Anne is very talkative. But that should have been my first warning that it was not going to go well because it took far too long to simply do a rebase and then they didn't even use acrylic or gel they just put polish over that chipped the next day and then she said that she would give me refund and I came in to get it that next evening she told me the service was 55.00 and she would refund that and so she hands me to 20 and a five I look at her and say that it's not enough and she said oh do you want her tip back I had said no I want the other $10 for $55 you gave me $45 she was hoping I didn't notice and she was going to keep back the 10 if I hadn't have said anything.
